  1. Mini cup final for Burnley - Pardewpublished at 14:26 Greenwich Mean Time 5 November 2016

Burnley v Crystal Palace (15:00 GMT)

Alan Pardew has seen his Crystal Palace team lose three on the spin, dropping down to 13th in the Premier League and level on points with today's hosts Burnley.

By hook or by crook the Eagles must win at Turf Moor, he says.

"Burnley have got belief at the moment, the pitch is looking great, the weather has bit of a snap - but no excuses. We have got to deliver," he says.

"It has been fine lines for us over the past few weeks. We've had good performances in those defeats so there is not much to change but we have to get a result.

"We have to show a resilience, a strength of character, knowing Burnley  are treating this as a mini cup final. They will be targeting this as a win."

Burnley drop striker Andre Gray to the bench with the fit-again Steven Defour brought into the midfield. The other change sees left-back Jon Flanagan make his first Premier League start for the Clarets with Stephen Ward sidelined. George Boyd misses out on a recall and stays on the bench.

Crystal Palace make three changes from the defeat to Liverpool last time out, with Damien Delaney, Jason Puncheon and Andros Townsend in for James Tomkins, Lee Chung-yong and Joe Ledley.

    Bournemouth v Sunderland

It's bright on the south coast (it always is, isn't it?), where Jack Wilshere makes his 100th Premier League start today. Considering he went on loan to Bolton as a five-year-old, it's taken quite a while for him to make a ton.

I'm seeing some pictures of London Stadium, with West Ham's players out warming up in some sky blue tracksuit tops. Not many fans inside the ground just yet. Most are probably still in the shopping centre.

West Ham v Stoke (15:00 GMT)

West Ham boss Slaven Bilic makes two changes from the defeat by Everton last time out. The club's record signing Andre Ayew makes his first start for the club since getting injured on his Hammers debut against Chelsea on 15 August. He replaces Edimilson Fernandes, while James Collins comes in for the suspended centre-back Winston Reid.

West Ham XI: Adrian, Kouyate, Collins, Ogbonna, Antonio, Noble, Obiang, Cresswell, Lanzini, Ayew, Payet.

Stoke manager Mark Hughes is forced into two changes from Monday's win over Swansea. Forwards Xherdan Shaqiri and Marko Arnautovic miss out through injury and suspension respectively and they are replaced by Jonathan Walters and Ramadan Sobhi, who makes his first Premier League start.

Stoke XI: Grant, Bardsley, Shawcross, Martins Indi, Pieters, Whelan, Adam, Walters, Allen, Sobhi, Bony.

  9. Karanka pleased with Boro 'consistency'published at 14:16 Greenwich Mean Time 5 November 2016

Man City v Middlesbrough (15:00 BST)

Middlesbrough manager Aitor Karanka: "We've made one enforced change but it is not about individuals - it's all about the team. A good example of that was two weeks ago when we drew at Arsenal.

"We have been more consistent in recent weeks and with that consistency we are confident on the pitch. But it is a difficult game against a really good team."

  10. Raheem restedpublished at 14:16 Greenwich Mean Time 5 November 2016

If the absence of Yaya Toure from Manchester City's squad to face Middlesbrough this afternoon was entirely predictable, despite the Ivorian's apology to manager Pep Guardiola on Friday morning, Raheem Sterling's omission was less so.

Sterling, it seems, has been rested for today's game.

It will be interesting to see if that affects whether Gareth Southgate picks him in the England squad for the forthcoming games against Scotland and Spain, which will be announced on Sunday evening.

Man CIty v Middlesbrough (15:00 GMT)

Pep Guardiola has just been speaking to BBC Sport's Guy Mowbray in the Etihad tunnel and - I think - he said Raheem Sterling and Nicolas Otamendi have been rested. The Manchester City boss wasn't that clear.

"If I'm looking for fresh guys I have to change positions," he said before mumbling something else about giving people "rest".

"We hope to maintain the intensity from the win against Barcelona, but we know it is a different competition.

"The environment in the Champions League is so special but if we want to be a good team in all competitions have to control the situation."

Sunderland boss David Moyes makes three changes to the side that started against Arsenal last weekend. Defender John O'Shea has a hamstring injury so Papy Djilobodji replaces him. Paddy McNair and Victor Anichebe are in for Jack Rodwell and Wahbi Khazri.

Man City v Middlesbrough (15:00 GMT)

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola makes three changes to the side that beat Barcelona 3-1 at home in the Champions League on Tuesday.

Claudio Bravo was suspended but returns to take Willy Caballero's place in goal, Nicolas Otamendi is replaced by Gael Clichy in defence, and there is no Raheem Sterling in the City squad. Is that an injury? Jesus Navas comes in instead.

Yaya Toure may have apologised, but there's still no place for the Ivorian in City's squad.

City XI: Bravo, Zabaleta, Stones, Kolarov, Clichy, Fernandinho, Gundogan, Silva, De Bruyne, Navas, Aguero

Subs: Caballero, Kompany, Maffeo, Garcia, Nolito, Iheanacho. Sane

There's just one change from the Middlesbrough side that picked up their first home win of the season with victory over Bournemouth last weekend.

Gaston Ramirez - scorer of a marvellous solo goal - is suspended replaced by midfielder Marten de Roon.

Boro XI: Valdes, Barragan, Chambers, Gibson, Friend, Traore, De Roon, Clayton, Forshaw, Downing, Negredo

Subs: Da Silva, Bernardo, Leadbitter, Fischer, Guzan, Stuani, Nugent

It's never easy to get over (leaving Liverpool) but Joe Allen's put it to one side. He was used as a sitting midfielder and I always thought he passed the ball sideways a lot, but I felt he had more to his game.

This season, Mark Hughes has played him in a number 10 position. He's anticipating and getting goals.
