Chelsea have always carried a threat. But give City credit - they have stuck at their task. They continue to try and break through the Chelsea back three, but the visitors are defending well.

And whenever Chelsea have possession they will start trying to slow the game down...

Eden Hazard swings in the free-kick, Gary Cahill finds himself in acres of space in the City box. But he is a couple of inches too short and Claudio Bravo collects at the second attempt.

Respite for Chelsea as they win a free-kick close to the halfway line. Then they win another near the left touchline when Jesus Navas tugs back Eden Hazard. Booking.

But the home defender cannot keep his header down. Row H.

David Simpson: Chelsea proving they've got league winning quality. Wing backs not done much going forward today. But plan B has worked.

Brent: Obvious but worrying for England that Cahill and Stones are the weak links in these two teams.

MG Griffiths: City are weak defensively. Other than Stones I'd replace the other 3 ... Or hope Kompany can sort his injuries out asap

Abhishek: The Classico better live up to the billing. Chelsea and City have served us a terrific game. End to end stuff and lovely skills

Rabin: Playstation stuff. Probably the best game of the season so far.

Hugh: Bravo should have at least TRIED to save that

One minute you're looking at a great run into the box from Ilkay Gundogan and a great ball back but no-one there from City, but the next Willian is through for Chelsea and hits the ball across the goalkeeper to make it 2-1.

To be honest, I don't think Claudio Bravo came out enough to close down the angle, and it was quite an easy finish for someone of Willian's skill.

Sensational turnaround! Chelsea lead through Willian's crisp strike.

The Blues break quickly, Diego Costa sending the substitute clean through. Willian holds off Aleksander Kolarov before drilling low across Claudio Bravo in the bottom left corner.

Willian and David Luiz celebrate by paying tribute to those members of the Brazilian football team Chapecoense who lost their lives in a plane crash on Monday.

Chelsea continue to want to play on the counter-attack. That's pretty risky - we've already seen City fizz a couple of balls across the box since the equaliser.

There's not a lot in this game at all, and the winner will be down either to a little bit of cleverness or a mistake.

Right, Man City need a goal. Who do they turn to? Gael Clichy, obviously.

He comes on for the more attack-minded Leroy Sane.

Clichy will never score.... (Cue Clichy goal.)

This graphic shows where Manchester City have focused their attacks. City have clearly targeted the right wing with Jesus Navas and Kevin De Bruyne running wide to attack Chelsea left wing-back Marcos Alonso.

Victor Moses hasn't been tested defensively, they said. He's going to be exposed by Man City, they said.

    Not so.

Another excellent bit of defending from the Chelsea wing-back stops Sergio Aguero tapping in Jesus Navas's cross. Superb.
