Move on. Nothing to see. Bournemouth partially clear the corner, before Sadio Mane trips over the ball on the byeline.

Two minutes of stoppage time for the Cherries to go into the break with some sort of hope.

Sadio Mane has more tricks in the box than Paul Daniels. Or Dynamo if you're a little younger.

A flurry of stepovers on the right flank don't fool Adam Smith, but then another dummy does. Smith gets back to concede a corner. That's Liverpool's sixth of the first half...

"All we want is a decent referee," sing the home fans, along with another ditty about the officials which is not suitable for a family audience.

"Clearly Bournemouth feel they should have had a penalty when Nathan Ake went down - assistant boss Jason Tindall has a long chat with fourth official Stuart Attwell.

"But it's just about the only straw they've had to clutch at, as the Cherries have been living off scraps this half."

Sahil Oberoi: If Robert Madley doesn't think it's a penalty then surely Ake deserves a yellow for a dive? Poor refereeing.

Canice: Thats a PK all day long..bad officiating killing the #EPL

David Simpson: If the penalty was given to Spurs yesterday, that has to be a pen to B'mouth. But...

One straight from the training ground. Liverpool free-kick, everyone jostling in the box, Jordan Henderson goes short to Emre Can in the left channel. But Bournemouth's defence hack the German's cross clear.

Former Liverpool and Bournemouth midfielder Jimmy Case on BBC Merseyside: "Ake went to ground a little bit too easily. I think the referee got that right.

"Ake kicked Firmino's shin and went down."

The Bournemouth fans have stirred. From that corner, home defender Nathan Ake thinks he is fouled by Roberto Firmino in the box. The two players' knees might clash, but there is not enough contact to be going down there. Referee Bobby Madley theatrically waves it away.

Bournemouth keeper Artur Boruc has touched the ball more times than attacking midfielder Jack Wilshere and striker Callum Wilson. Damning.

The home side have a short spell of possession on the left flank, but the cross is overhit and goes back to a luminous green shirt.

One-way traffic. Liverpool pour forward again, Roberto Firmino having a pop from 20 yards. But his effort, unlike his tight ponytail, is not very special. He shanks the ball wide.

Seconds after Jurgen Klopp unleashed a verbal volley at Divock Origi as a pass went astray, the Liverpool manager is pumping his fists in celebration.

Origi will be forgiven by Klopp after that sublime finish from a tight angle. One of the German's coaching staff leaps onto the pitch and bounces up and down in celebration.

As they proved in the 3-1 defeat at Arsenal last week, Eddie Howe's team will never give up, but they face a Herculean task now, with three-quarters of the game remaining.
