Manchester United fancy this one now. They win a free-kick on the right, but Zlatan Ibrahimovic's effort is cleared by Ramiro Funes Mori inside his six-yard box.

That Kevin Mirallas effort has woken Manchester United up. Paul Pogba tries to dance his way around the Everton defence, as the home side fail to clear their lines.

The ball drops to Anthony Martial and he curls narrowly wide.

At last! Everton hit the target.

Kevin Mirallas barges past Marcos Rojo like he isn't there, an angled drive blocked by David de Gea.

    Hope for Everton? A little.

Ouch! Seamus Coleman gets into a wrestling match with Zlatan Ibrahimovic near the Everton byeline, winning the battle to run the ball clear. Zlatan isn't tapping out though, ending up drop-kicking his opponent when they tangle again.

Lucky to get away with a booking.

David Gray: Seeing several attempts to play the sweeper-keeper role this weekend. Think it's about to go out of fashion!

KN: If we are to kill off this game, we need to score in the 10mins after half time.

Andy Rudd: Ironic really, think Koeman was right to drop Jagielka, but he does loves a goal line clearance

Matteo Darmian skulks down the Manchester United left flank, looks up and drills a cross into the Everton box. Not sure what he saw when he looked up. Because it wasn't a red shirt. No-one there.

Everton have got to look to the bench. They have Tom Cleverley on the left and he is not a left-sided player.

They have Gerard Deulofeu, Ross Barkley and Enner Valencia on the bench.

I'd give it five minutes and make a change.

No changes in personnel by the way. Everton need a change in something. Still drawing a blank in the shots-on-target column.

Not much activity in either opposing penalty area. Let's hope for more excitement after the break.

Ronald Koeman isn't a manager who minces his words, with Ross Barkley being on the end of a few 'observations' from the Dutchman this season.

Is it already time to throw on the England midfielder? We've not seen much creativity from the home side.

Barkley is out on the pitch warming up. Which suggests it might be a while yet before we see him.

I have no idea why Stekelenburg rushed out.

He made Ibrahimovic's mind up for him.

    We have a game now.

United have at least tried to be positive and create chances. Everton have been poor.

Callum Anderson: A bizarre goal by Zlatan! An absolute aberration by Stekelenburg though

Dental Mental: Stekelenberg what on earth are you doing

Matt Chapman: Yes it's bad from the keeper but Funes Mori just ambles back towards the line - he could have prevented the goal easily

Those inside Goodison Park will be keen to see a half-time replay of that opening goal, even the home fans. Because it wasn't quite clear initially whether the ball had crossed the line.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic's shot hit the underside of the bar, then spun into the right hand post, before taking an age to go in.

Ramiro Funes Mori starts chasing back but then seems to give up. And the goal-line technology gives the decision.

    The Basil Fawlty of goals.
