  1. YELLOW CARDpublished at 16 mins

    Everton 0-0 Man Utd

Now Michael Oliver has no alternative but to dish out the yellow card. And Marcos Rojo could have seen red. The Manchester United defender lunges in, with both feet off the ground, as Idrissa Gueye beats him to a loose ball.

    Not pretty.

Everton are giving the ball away under pressure, trying to find Lukaku but the ball keeps on coming back at them.

Those travelling Manchester United fans are making a racket. Nothing stirs them up more than a trip from Salford to enemy territory in Liverpool.

Not much goalmouth action for them to cheer though.

If the referee is not going to book Gareth Barry there, I do not understand what he is seeing.

    It was a bad tackle.

  5. YELLOW CARDpublished at 11 mins

    Everton 0-0 Man Utd

Seems you will have to work hard to earn a yellow card off referee Michael Oliver today. Gareth Barry, the most booked player in PL history, tries his best. He scythes down Zlatan Ibrahimovic with a filthy ankle-high challenge. Oliver not interested in pulling out his notebook.

Anyone got Ramiro Funes Mori down as first scorer? Didn't think so. The Everton defender decides to have a pop from 30+ yards. Why? I don't know. But he hits Row K in the Park End Stand.

Gareth Barry has made more Premier League starts than any other player. He is football's version of Keith Richards. Never going to call it a day, despite being written off time and time again.

Now he shanks the ball out for a throw-in.

Both sides are letting the other back four have the ball.

I think that suits Everton more.

Ashley Williams is good on the ball and fires it into Lukaku to hold up.

    Everton 0-0 Man Utd

Manchester United have settled down after that feisty Everton opening. Plenty of neat passing between Phil Jones, Marcos Rojo and Michael Carrick, but not much movement going forward. Everton content to let them pass the ball about in front of them.

Aleks Yakubssohn: Nothing changes with Liverpool. gave points away under Rafa in '09, let Palace back under Rodgers, and now THIS..

Fahad Khan: All going to Chelsea's plan. Ake loan is a masterstroke. No worries about Arsenal though. That 4th place looks secure

Nick in London: Liverpool are still a good team. as good as Chelsea. They did have Matip injured. Liverpool deserved to win despite the unlucky collapse at the end. Well done Bournemoth, they scored some good goals as well as a lucky last goal. no need for Liverpool to panic.

  19. 'We are not ice-skaing'published at 15:58 Greenwich Mean Time 4 December 2016

    Bournemouth 4-3 Liverpool

More from Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp:  "We gave the game away, but Bournemouth was ready to take it. Maybe we scored more goals, but didn't. Our rhythm and flow us good but we stopped playing football. They came back, they were not down at 3-1. They knew there was a moment. After 3-3 Eddie Howe was on fire and they wanted to win the game and we gave them a little bit. It was a nice story, but unfortunately we were on the wrong side.

"We are not ice skating, it's not about how it looks. I know we can play football. Nothing is decided at 2-0. The boys know now we gave it away - only because of us Bournemouth came back. It was our mistake to let them back in the game. I knew there would be moments like this.

"Nothing happened today apart from losing three points. Everything else is ok."

Both sides are crammed shoulder to shoulder in the tight Goodison tunnel. Z Cars pumps out of the sound system, giving the green light for them to walk out.

Both teams led out by English midfielders - but it isn't Wayne Rooney and Phil Jagielka. Michael Carrick on the left, Gareth Barry on the right.
