If somebody had gambled at the far stick there, that would've been an equaliser.

I wish the Allams would sell Hull City so we at least have a chance. It's almost like he's punishing the fans and the club for not getting his way. Give us our club back so we can have a future.

It was close, but National League side Lincoln cling on to knock League One club Oldham out of the FA Cup.

Cameron Burgess missed the target with a free header, but the Latics struggled to create many chances after pulling back from 3-0 down to 3-2.

Theo Robinson, who only joined the Imps on a short-term contract in October, was the hero for the hosts with a goal in each half.

Boro have just gone very, very negative.

Gaston Ramirez has been the class act in a very poor game.

SHOT ON TARGET. Hull have a shot on target, this is not a drill.

Michael Dawson gets his head on a floated free-kick and it's easy for Victor Valdes to catch it.

Gaston Ramirez has a knock and he limps off, Stewart Downing is on.

Hull will have lost eight of their last 10 if they can't save this one. They still haven't had a shot on goal!

    Heartfelt words.....

I'm not a Hull fan but i am a supporter of young British football talent and I really hope Jarrod Bowen takes his opportunity. EPL managers prefer experienced foreign imports to home grown talent and it takes something special like Kane and Rashford to break through. Good luck to him.

    Lincoln 3-2 Oldham

Still about 10 minutes to go at Lincoln where Oldham have fought back from 3-0 down with two quick goals from Peter Clarke and Billy McKay...

The fog has come in hard now too.

It's a real chance. He's got lots of time and lots of space, but he's looped it over the bar.

Chance for Hull! A rare one as Sam Clucas is left free at the front post at a corner, the ball is a touch too high for him and he can only steer a header over the top.

Alvaro Negredo is up for a header but once more Curtis Davies stands strong to get a block onto it and the danger has gone. Such a toothless display from Hull tonight. Have a go someone!

Question: Which one of the Bens below is more wrong?

Ben Tap: Great to see Ramirez score. He's had a tough few months & i'm still amazed Chelsea let him go

Ben Webster: I mean I wouldn't mind Harry Kane making the switch from the Lane to Hull. We both don't have Champions League football.

  20. Nervy finish at Lincolnpublished at 21:24 Greenwich Mean Time 5 December 2016

    Lincoln 3-2 Oldham

Mere moments after Peter Clarke got Oldham's first, Billy McKay slots in a second for the Latics.

There's still 15 minutes left for them to complete an unlikely turnaround. Are we having a Curzon Ashton moment?
