Holebas wanted that real whip on a delivery and he managed to get it. You get that right delivery into the box and it makes such a difference.

I think Watford have been more clinical in possession and posed more questions of Everton.

Sebastian Prodl makes this header count! A fantastic, teasing delivery from Jose Holebas from a free-kick on the left flank is swept into the Everton net by the Austrian defender, as Watford come from behind to lead.

What will Ronald Koeman's side do from here?

Gareth Barry makes sure to chip in with another canny (or cynical) foul, cutting across Juan Zuniga as the Colombian gallops down the right wing. The kind of foul Barry has perfected over the years - just short of the yellow card zone.

Adlene Guedioura swings in the set piece and Sebastian Prodl nods over.

It has been a very sluggish start from Watford, they are dropping very deep and they need to push forward.

They have started the second half the way they started the first and if they are not careful that is going to cost them.

Right now, this game has no story, no author. No-one's making a mark.

It feels like it's slowly lurching towards stalemate.

Tactically for both teams it should be very similar, they both need to get the ball wide. To Deulofeu for Everton and Amrabat for Watford.

If they do that, like they did in the first half, we will have a more entertaining game and a more end-to-end game.

Disappointing. Everton spring into life as Gerard Deulofeu and Kevin Mirallas exchange quickly on the edge of the box. The next ball plays Seamus Coleman into space down the right, but the right-back is offside.

That's the best bit of play so far in this second half, which should tell you all you need to know.

You would have thought Watford would start the second half the way they ended the first. Had they done that, they would have put Everton under pressure.

At the moment it is a bit of a slow, lacklustre start.

These are some worrying signs for Everton. Again Watford are stronger to every second ball, again they're quicker running into space down the flanks.

The only thing that's letting Watford down so far is a final telling touch, a killer pass.

The away side have been very flat. But then again, Romelu Lukaku's always a danger...

Watford have 11 different nationalities in their starting XI today...

Dan Lancaster: Shouldn't be allowed, this is the exact reason the national team fail.

Matthew McCarthy: It's like a Squad Builder Challenge in Fifa.

Max MacDonald: Think the Premier League need a "homegrown" rule not just for senior squads but match day squads, 4 British or youth system players in the 18 man team.

As we're waiting for kick-off time, Stefano Okaka and Etienne Capoue take each other through Okaka's equalising goal.

We thought we were all good to go, but Valon Behrami's gone down and the physio's had to come on.

Will he be alright to carry on? Weird one. How come that wasn't dealt with at the break?

Walter Mazzarri will only be disappointed with the way Watford started the game. Had they played the way they did in the last 15 minutes they would be leading this game.

Stefano Okaka has been excellent. I was a little surprised to see him in the starting line-up and with the shape of him, he looks a little bit unfit.

But he has been excellent. His work ethic is great, his attitude and his desire to get in the box - he's lifted his team and this crowd.

Jamie Mills O'Brien: I really enjoyed watching Everton play last season. This year it is just all awful. Hoof ball - Koeman isn't a good fit.

Jonny Duchezeau: Can Everton actually keep hold of the football?! Punt over the top to lukaku was effective but so poor apart from that.

Pep Guardiola in 24 games, he has played 24 different line-ups. I think he is testing his players and trying to find out the best style of play.

It can be tricky as a player but at the same time it isn't great if you play the same team and shape every single game. As a player, then you think that the manager hasn't done his homework. The players who will get annoyed are players like Raheem Sterling and Leroy Sane. They are affected the most when he changes the shape, they are taken away from what they are good at and asked to defend as well. That can be frustrating as a player.

That spine they have got, Fernandinho is one of the best all-round midfielders and he’s been brilliant for City – he’s carried Yaya Toure at times.

It’s going to be interesting in the next few weeks if they can get some wins as they can’t afford too many more slip ups.

I call it the comfort zone and you don’t consciously go there. I had a situation at Liverpool where Gerard Houllier left me out of the team and said I was in the comfort zone after I got a new contract.

Some of the Leicester lads aren’t putting in the graft they needed to get to that level. It was such a settled team last year. There are so many factors - I still think they can stay up.

N'Golo Kante was unbelievable last year. Defensively they were so much better and have been found out. Be difficult to beat should be the starting block.
