Guardiola has had two of the best teams in Europe, what’s obvious at moment is he’s tweaking and tinkering tactically. He probably knows seven or eight of his best team, but I still think they’re are favourites.

Last week they dominated for long periods and, when they have everyone fit, I think they have the best firepower in the league and I fancy them to win it.

  2. 'Guardiola doesn't know his best team'published at 13:21 Greenwich Mean Time 10 December 2016

Leicester v Manchester City (17.30 GMT)

    Mark Lawrenson
Former Liverpool defender on Football Focus

Problem is defensively you don't build a house without foundations. If you don't change defensively everyone knows what they're doing. The goalkeeper isn't great. Why not keep Joe Hart on? As a shot stopper he is miles ahead of Bravo. I don't think he knows his best team.

  3. 'A win is gold dust'published at 13:19 Greenwich Mean Time 10 December 2016

Hull v Crystal Palace (15:00 GMT)

Crystal Palace manager Alan Pardew: "A win is gold dust in this division at the moment. Our game at Hull could define the first half of our season - we've got two very difficult fixtures after [at home to Manchester United and Chelsea].

"The consistency of performance is what you're always searching for.

"If our players put in a performance like they did against Southampton, with the concentration, the effort and running power, then Hull are going to find it very difficult to beat us."

Sanchez is looking around the Premier League and seeing what people are earning and I think Arsenal have to get to £200,000, £250,000 - they have got to get there or he will go.

He mixes his game up well, he’s a talented player. He’s got all the abilities to be a number nine but if you need to switch him he can do that. He’s magical.

    Watford 1-1 Everton

Everton end the half hanging on, after Romelu Lukaku's opener looked to have set them on the course for victory.

    What'll the second half bring?

They're lifting this, Watford. They smell a goal before the break.

They've got just two minutes in added time to get it.

Watford have that spring in their step now, just like Everton did after their goal.

Like we have been saying for most of this first half, it is always happening through Amrabat down the right-hand side.

  10. What a miss!published at 41 mins

    Watford 1-1 Everton

Troy Deeney. If this is not a man cursed I don't know who is.

A fantastic chance for his 100th goal for Watford goes begging after Adlene Guedioura's lofted ball to the back stick sails over the Everton defence and looks to be landing squarely on the Hornets captain's boot.

But Deeney. Oh Deeney. It's as if he can't decide whether to stoop to the turf for a header, or leather it home. In the end, it's neither. Goal kick. He rests his head on the grass.

That's Stefano Okaka's first goal for Watford. Not a bad way to get it.

And his first Premier League goal since May 2010 (for Fulham, on loan, against West Ham).

That started five minutes ago, that's Okaka's work ethic to get back into the game - he wanted the ball and lifted the rest of his players up.

He picked up the flick for Deeney and made his way into the box. It was a great goal, but Everton didn't track him, didn't follow him.

That's reward for his work ethic. He started that move and ended it.

Nordin Amrabat's been brilliant today, and this cross towards Stefano Okaka at the near post for the assist is very handy too.

Okaka's finish is superb. The high point of the game so far by a long, long way.

Ghosting in ahead of Ashley Williams, who just does not spot the run, he flicks the ball home with a back-heel. Maarten Stekelenburg is powerless in the Everton net.

    Watford 0-1 Everton

There's plenty of bite and fight about this Watford team.

A few passing moves break down at the Everton back-four barrier, but every time there's a yellow shirt working faster and harder.

Change of tact: A Jose Holebas long throw is flicked on by Troy Deeney, but Adlene Guedioura can't get any power on his nod towards goal.

Gareth Barry is using all his experience in midfield, slowing things down.

Every time Watford look like they are trying to break forward quickly, Everton are trying to frustrate them. At the moment that is working really well.

Nordin Amrabat's having a properly good game. Spinning away from Gareth Barry in midfield, all the Everton man can do is bring him down.

It's just Ryan Giggs ahead of Barry in terms of Premier League appearances now. Today Barry's drawing level with Frank Lampard.

Wonder how many fouls he's made...

Ronald Koeman will be very pleased, Everton have settled into the game now.

Watford are trying to play the ball over the top too often and they don't have the pace to trouble Funes Mori and Ashley Williams.

The one they need to give the ball to is Amrabat, he has the pace and trickery out wide.

The goal was from nothing really, almost against the run of play where Watford seemed to be more comfortable in possession, seemed to want to play more, create more.

Everton will gain confidence from that and straight after the goal they appeared to put more pressure on Watford, but the game has settled back into its rhythm a little bit.

    Watford 0-1 Everton

Fantastic play from Nordin Amrabat on the right, again leaving Ramiro Funes Mori smoking exit dust as he whirls down the right.

The cut-back is good too - all Troy Deeney has to do is take a steady touch and smash home for the equaliser, but again Deeney cannot deliver and the ball bounces off his terrible control.

Danger averted again for Everton. Ninety-nine goals for Watford for Deeney. The wait goes on.
