Viv: Just hope Southampton won't collapse the way Stoke did after taking an early lead with impressive early display!

"Pressure, pressure, come on!" shouts someone on the Saints bench. That's what the home players are doing on the right touchline, trying to close down the mustard yellow shirts around them. But there's no 'out' ball for the hosts at the moment.

The wind has been taken out of the Saints sails a little bit. Spurs looking much more assured in possession now.

"Oh when the Spurs go marching onnnnnn!"

That familiar tune is coming from the away end, not the home stands after that Spurs equaliser. The visitors had seen plenty of the ball but had not threatened the Saints goal until scoring with their first shot on target.

Not a bad way to mark for Dele Alli to mark his 50th Premier League appearance, eh?

It's a decent header from Dele Alli but I'm not sure how much he knows about the direction he's hitting it in - he gets a little bit of luck with a deflection there.

    Dele Alli

Fraser Forster still hasn't had a save to make. Spurs are level thanks to Dele Alli. Moussa Sissoko's left-wing cross takes a huge deflection off Nathan Redmond, seemingly catching out the flat-footed Saints defence. And Alli takes advantage by leaping higher than the stationary Virgil van Dijk to thump a header off the right-hand post.

Some desperate defending from Spurs there after a lovely run down the left from Ryan Bertrand!

Southampton are bang up for this. Nathan Redmond surges forward on the right to flash a low drive across the face of the Spurs goal, before Jay Rodriguez almost meets Ryan Bertrand's teasing cross from the left. Spurs survive. Just.

Southampton are playing very much on the counter attack at the moment. They are very happy to sit back and get behind the Spurs players.

I don't know whether the goal from Southampton is a good thing, or a bad thing at this stage.

Mousa Dembele's frustration boils over. The Spurs midfielder and Nathan Redmond try to swap shirts, both having a fist of cotton as they compete for the ball. Dembele thinks he should have won a free-kick, ref Mike Dean disagrees so the Spurs man takes retribution by hacking down Redmond.

Another half chance for the home side. Nathan Redmond picks out the run of Jay Rodriguez, who peels off to the right in the big space of grass left unoccupied by Danny Rose. But the Saints striker's first-time shot goes well wide.
