Leeds should be back on terms within a minute of the second-half kick-off at Norwich.

Pablo Hernandez sends over a delicious cross towards Kemar Roofe, who somehow can't hit the target with his header.

To make matters worse, the former Oxford striker goes down and requires a bit of treatment from the physios.

Former Wales captain on BBC Radio Wales

"It's damage limitation for Cardiff already."

  9. goal

GOAL (Gouffran)published at 15:47 Greenwich Mean Time 5 November 2016

  10. Leeds pushing for equaliserpublished at 15:46 Greenwich Mean Time 5 November 2016

    Norwich 1-0 Leeds

Norwich still hold the upper hand against visitors Leeds thanks to Luke Ayling's own goal, but the visitors have continued to press since going behind.

Kemar Roofe and Chris Wood have tested goalkeeper Michael McGovern, but he has been a match for everything thrown at him so far.

It's quite the turnaround for the Northern Ireland international, who conceded five times against Brighton last time out.

Ipswich haven't scored many this year - just 12 before today, fewest in the Championship - but they take the lead at Sheffield Wednesday as Tom Lawrence drives at the Owls defence before finding the bottom corner.

Sadly for the Tractor Boys, their advantage is swiftly cancelled out when Gary Hooper taps in after David Jones' shot was parried back into his path.

There haven't been any goals in the game between Nottingham Forest and QPR, at the City Ground but the visitors will have to play almost an hour with ten men after Karl Henry is shown his second yellow card.

  13. Going through motionspublished at 15:38 Greenwich Mean Time 5 November 2016

    Wigan 0-2 Reading

If you'd arrived late at the DW Stadium this afternoon, you probably missed all the action.

Since Garath McCleary's two goals for Reading inside the opening four minutes, there's been little to get excited about.

In fact, the most noteworthy thing is how cold it is up in the north west according to BBC Radio Berkshire's Tim Dellor.

  14. Huddersfield pressingpublished at 15:35 Greenwich Mean Time 5 November 2016

    Huddersfield 0-0 Birmingham

It's still goalless at Huddersfield, but the home side are playing with an air of authority now and have forced a series of corners.

Tomasz Kusczak has had a couple of saves to make in the Blues goal and Jonathan Grounds has made two vital blocks too.

Meanwhile, it's got worse for Rotherham as Callum Robinson has doubled Preston's lead in South Yorkshire.

    Neil WarnockImage source, Rex Features

Neil Warnock's side haven't gone into their shell after that early goal for Newcastle and Paul Dummett going close.

GOAL (Ayling own goal)published at 15:26 Greenwich Mean Time 5 November 2016

    Norwich 1-0 Leeds

Leeds will be kicking themselves for not taking advantage of their earlier chances, as Norwich take the lead at Carrow Road.

It's a scrappy goal, Alex Pritchard's corner being met by the head of Robbie Brady, whose effort is clawed away by Rob Green.

Unfortunately for the keeper, he can only get the ball into the path of full-back Luke Ayling, who deflects the save back into his own net.

  18. Sedate after a blistering startpublished at 15:23 Greenwich Mean Time 5 November 2016

    Wigan 0-2 Reading

Sounds like Garath McCleary's two goals in just four minutes have sucked all of the atmosphere out of the DW Stadium at Wigan.

Reading knocking the ball around with plenty of time, Wigan under new manager Warren Joyce chasing shadows for the time being.

Despite the early action at Wigan and Newcastle, it's been a quiet start elsewhere in the Championship with no goals so far in any of the other seven games.

The biggest incident of note has come at Burton, where the Brewers' Jamie Ward has been forced off early in their game with Barnsley after suffering an apparent wrist injury.

  20. Dummett goes close for Magpiespublished at 15:21 Greenwich Mean Time 5 November 2016

    Newcastle 1-0 Cardiff

Christian Atsu fired Newcastle into an early lead against Cardiff and Paul Dummett has just gone close to doubling that advantage.

But, Ben Amos is on hand and alert to block his effort in the Cardiff goal.
