GOAL - Chelsea 1-0 Peterborough Unitedpublished at 15:17 Greenwich Mean Time 8 January 2017

    Pedro (18 mins)

Relentless pressure takes its toll in the end! Cesc Fabregas has a shot blocked, Nathaniel Chalobah batters the rebound from 20 yards and when Luke McGee can only palm it to Pedro on the left, he is able to find the top corner with a little curler.

He had plenty to do, and did it with aplomb.

Tottenham v Aston Villa (16:00 GMT)

Centre-back Toby Alderweireld and holding midfielder Eric Dier - Tottenham's captain for the day - are the only two men to keep their place in Mauricio Pochettino's starting XI. Dele Alli is named on the bench. Just in case things don't go to plan.

Aston Villa boss Steve Bruce makes four changes from the team which lost 1-0 at Cardiff on Monday.

On-loan keeper Sam Johnstone makes his debut in place of Mark Bunn, while forgotten forward Gabby Agbonlahor is given a rare start.

Spurs XI:  Vorm, Trippier, Carter-Vickers, Alderweireld, Wimmer, Davies, Dier, Winks, Sissoko, Son, Janssen.

Villa XI: Johnstone, Hutton, Chester, Baker, Amavi, Jedinak, Tshibola, Adomah, Bacuna, Grealish, Agbonlahor.

    Chelsea 0-0 Peterborough United

Peterborough tend to score, and concede, plenty and it's another open game so far. John Terry is close to a goal on his return but his powerful shot from a corner is well held by Luke McGee.

Tricky feet from Adam Lallana to beat his man and cross, left-footed, Divock Origi looks to be clear of the last man but he can only stretch to head tamely wide. Big chance!

A standing ovation from 50,000+. The sort of moment that Gary Miller may have dreamed of, unfortunately for the Plymouth defender it comes as he is taken from the Anfield pitch on a stretcher.
