    FT: Celtic 1-0 Hamilton

Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers on BBC Radio Scotland: "It certainly wasn't at the level we have been for most of the season, but the mentality of the players was very strong.

"The pitch looks heavy and it affects the speed of our game, but give credit to Hamilton - they condensed the space in the middle of the park.

"When you are a winning team, you have to have drive and hunger and the players have that in spades.

"We just failed with that last decision in the box, but they got the game done."

The floodlights at Pittodrie were powered by a generator with no problems for last Tuesday's win over Kilmarnock and the weekend draw with St Johnstone, explains Aberdeen chief executive Duncan Fraser.

He told BBC Scotland: "We brought in two generators and tested them - they've been working fine for the last week and a half, but tonight the generator tripped.

"We powered it up again, but when it tripped again, we had no option but to call the game off.

"We can only apologise to both sets of supporters."

Alloa Athletic are a further three points back after a disappointing home draw with Stranraer, who move above East Fife, who are now in the relegation play-off spot.

In League Two, Forfar Athletic's hammering of Annan Athletic means they move five points clear of Elgin City with a game in hand.

Hamilton are seeing even less of the ball now. Celtic are launching attack after attack, albeit without generating clear scoring opportunities.

There has been no sense of alarm for the home side, even though they have only established a one-goal lead, since Hamilton have lacked the poise to make any headway in the final third themselves.

The expectation remains that Celtic will eventually carve out another opening, rather than suffer a setback in defence.
