  1. CLOSE!published at 23 mins

    Manchester United 0-0 Wigan

Manchester United forge an attack! The first one. Luke Shaw puts in a dangerous ball from the left, Dan Burn climbs well to nod it down but it's only into the arc of Juan Mata, who strikes the ball powerfully into the Stretford End.

It was knee high, but a fine effort.

Wigan have started this game very well. It can only get better for Manchester United.

They just haven't started playing yet.

Louis van Gaal won the FA Cup with Manchester United last year but was sacked before he'd got back on the team bus. Can Jose Mourinho make it to two cup finals in the one season?

They need to raise their game by at least 300%. This has been poor.

Tellytruth: Fellaini only knows sideways and backwards. Very predictable.

Michael Devlin: Nervously awaiting Fellaini's inevitable catastrophic mistake.

Sonsofpunjab: Utd have not even got into gear they still have the handbrake on, you can see Wigan scoring

    Manchester United 0-0 Wigan

Manchester United are all over the place. Sergio Romero and Marcos Rojo get in a muddle, Wigan press them and they lose it, Marouane Fellaini has to cover and cover well.

If you're one of the many, many people writing a '5 things we learned' article this weekend may I suggest that making eight or nine changes is not conducive to a good performance.

    Unless you're Wolves.

It's Wigan who are on top at the moment, Henrikh Mkhitaryan has to chase back fully 65 yards to cut out a threaded pass which threatened to send Will Grigg into the area.

Mwalimu Pedro: Martial and Schweinsteiger are definitely rusty

Phil Madeley: Great to see Schweinsteiger back in the starting line-up for United today after 385 days. Well overdue.

Nathan Titus: One can see this team was put together about 5 min before kickoff. No cohesion, nothing.

Will Grigg, who was on fire this time last year but has long since been extinguished, is facing a lonely evening's work. He needs support, but he's only had one fewer touch than Anthony Martial so far.

Who would have thought that a midfield containing Marouane Fellaini and Bastian Schweinsteiger would look ponderous? This time it's the German who loses the ball and gives away a free-kick.

Wigan pump it into the middle, it's nodded out and on-loan Everton man Callum Connolly hits a shot at Sergio Romero. Best chance yet.

Speaking of FA Cup upsets, it's only four years since Wigan won the whole thing. Sam Morsy strips the ball from Marouane Fellaini who is lucky not to be booked for pulling the midfielder's shirt and stopping him breaking clear.

It looks like Anthony Martial is playing in the role of striker with Wayne Rooney playing just off him. You feel there is pressure on Martial and Luke Shaw today. Martial has given the ball away early twice and scuffed a shot. I do think he is a good player though.

  20. 'I don't want to draw a Premier League team'published at 16:03 Greenwich Mean Time 29 January 2017

    Fulham 4-1 Hull

Fulham boss Slavisa Jokanovic, speaking to BBC Sport: "It was a good performance against a Premier League team, we tried to find our style and scored four goals against a strong side.

"We created a lot of great chances and we coped very well with them at the end so have to be satisfied.

"The FA Cup is the most important cup competition in the world so we're excited for the draw on Monday.

"I don't want to play a strong Premier League team - I want to be lucky and draw a League One or League Two side and keep going."
