Fleetwood  hope to extend their unbeaten run to an incredible 19 games today as they face fellow promotion-chasers  Bolton  at 15:00 GMT - a win would take them six points clear of third-placed  Scunthorpe.

Five years on - Blue skies for Robins?

Mark Robins has returned as manager of Coventry City after a five-year gap and says he wants to simply get on with the job of restoring success to the Sky Blues.

Robins has inherited a City side lying bottom of League One, 13 points adrift of safety with just 11 games left. They face Bradford today at 15:00 GMT.

And there's the Manchester derby - sorry, a Manchester derby - between Oldham and Bury.

    It's tight at the top.

Brighton moved level on points with Championship leaders Newcastle last night with a 3-0 win over Derby County.

The Magpies face Fulham at St James' Park at 15:00 GMT and are favourites to extend their lead - they are unbeaten in their last four home league games against the London side.

Elsewhere, Alan Irvine will take charge of Norwich for the game against relegation-threatened Blackburn. The Canaries sacked manager Alex Neil after just over two years in charge. City had failed to win in five games under the former Hamilton boss, leaving them nine points outside the top six.

Middlesbrough v Manchester City (12:15 GMT)

Middlesbrough change four of the side from their last Premier League match, including a start for Brad Guzan in goal, with Cristhian Stuani, who scored the winner in their fifth-round win over Oxford United, starting in place of Gaston Ramirez.

Manchester City make five changes from the side that drew 0-0 against Stoke.

Claudio Bravo, as expected, replaces Willy Caballero in goal, while Raheem Sterling, John Stones and David Silva are among those that return to the starting line-up.

Sergio Aguero starts up front, with Leroy Sane also in the starting 11.

  7. 'January signings have not improved Boro'published at 11:12 Greenwich Mean Time 11 March 2017

Middlesbrough v Manchester City (12:15 GMT)

    Mark Lawrenson
    BBC football expert

It is quite easy predicting a nil for Middlesbrough at the moment because they have not found the net in any of their past four Premier League games, and have only scored four goals in their past 10.

The drop-off in Boro's form is a strange one really because signing two strikers in the January transfer window - Patrick Bamford (pictured) and Rudy Gestede, who replaced David Nugent and Jordan Rhodes in their squad - just has not improved them.

When you look at their lack of goals, it is not a surprise they are in the bottom three, and I don't expect things to improve against Manchester City.

City's draw against Stoke in midweek was a disappointing result - but it is not a disaster because they were up against a team who are capable of digging in like that.

Boss Pep Guardiola said afterwards his players must forget that game and move on and he is right - this is a big week for them in the cup competitions and they have to focus on them.

    Prediction: Middlesbrough 0-2 Manchester City

Each week Lawro predicts the results of the big matches, and this week he is up against fans from Chelsea and Manchester United.

  8. A busy day for the assistant referees?published at 11:08 Greenwich Mean Time 11 March 2017

Middlesbrough v Manchester City (12:15 GMT)

Now that we have reached the quarter-final stage of the FA Cup, there will no be more replays so, be prepared, we could have extra time and penalties later on if needed.

The assistant referees in the FA Cup games could also be busier than normal today.

For the first time in English football, there could be four substitutions made, instead of three, in the FA Cup games.

If the matches go to extra time then clubs will then be able to make one extra substitution than normal.

  11. Hart not surprised by Guardiola decisionpublished at 10:57 Greenwich Mean Time 11 March 2017

Middlesbrough v Manchester City (12:15 GMT)

Who will be in goal for Manchester City today? Pep Guardiola usually goes with the goalkeeper he classes as his number two at the time, meaning Claudio Bravo will get the nod.

Watching from afar is England goalkeeper Joe Hart, currently on loan at Torino in Italy.

In an interview with the Premier League Show, Hart says Guardiola's decision to axe him from Manchester City "wasn't a surprise", adding that he knew he could not change the mind of "someone as powerful" as the Spaniard.

Hull defender Curtis Davies is fit after a hamstring injury and could feature for the first time since the end of January.

But Evandro will miss a third consecutive game with a calf strain.

Swansea full-back Kyle Naughton is sidelined with a hamstring injury so Angel Rangel is likely to deputise.

Jefferson Montero and Ki Sung-yueng are set to return to the squad after hamstring and knee injuries respectively.

Ademola Lookman is set to return for Everton after being dropped for the defeat at Tottenham, while Enner Valencia (pictured) is also pressing to start after scoring in that match.

Winger Dominic Calvert-Lewin is back in contention for the Blues after nine weeks out with an ankle injury.

West Brom will again be without winger Matt Phillips because of an ongoing hamstring problem.

The Baggies have no other injury concerns, according to boss Tony Pulis.

Bournemouth v West Ham (15:00 GMT)

Bournemouth will be without suspended pair Andrew Surman and Tyrone Mings, who is out for five games after 'stamping' on Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Last week's debutant Baily Cargill could keep his place because Simon Francis is still nursing a hamstring injury and may not be ready to return.

West Ham welcome back Michail Antonio after a one-match ban, and Winston Reid should have recovered from a leg injury he suffered against Chelsea.

Andy Carroll and Robert Snodgrass are expected to be fit despite both needing stitches after that game.
