20 minutes to go. This will do nicely for Leicester. If they can see out the rest of this game without conceding they will see it as a major moral victory.

To be fair, for all of Atletico's possession, Schmeichel is not having to make save after save. Leicester are holding the Spanish side at bay. It is asking a lot for them to do that for the rest of this game, though. The ball is exclusively in one half of the pitch. And it is not Atletico's.

Boos from the Leicester fans, screams of fury from the players in blue. Mahrez trips Carrasco to give Atletico a free-kick wide left. City think this ref is favouring Atletico.

Thankfully the free-kick comes to nothing, otherwise some Foxes players could well spontaneously combust.

Oh Fernando. I remember when you used to be so deadly, so efficient, so... good. What happened? He latches on to a forward pass and lines up a shot but slips in the attempt and scuffs the ball badly wide. It is embarrassing for the forward but sadly something we have seen before.

Leicester are screaming for a penalty. They are not going to get one, though. Riyad Mahrez weaves one way and the next to try and get a shooting chance in the box before tumbling somewhat theatrically. Mahrez isn't happy, but it wasn't a penalty.

A great save but Gareth Bale should really have scored! Luka Modric thumps a cross into the middle, Gareth Bale stretches to meet it and Manuel Neuer turns his header away from a few yards out.
