Another Atletico shot from distance goes close as Koke slices an effort just wide of the post. Schmeichel was worried, as his full-length dive shows.

Ndidi wins the ball but he has nobody to hit on the counter. Jamie Vardy is having to come back into midfield and it removes the direct pass forward - Leicester's chief weapon.

Atletico have some momentum now. They win a corner, which is swung towards Fernando Torres but drifts just past his outstretched boot, allowing Leicester to get the ball away.

Antoine Griezmann knew full well what he was doing there. He wasn't in the box but he made certain that he skidded into the area after Albrighton's challenge. At that speed it is enough to fool the ref.

Oh, close! Leicester's long throw glances off an Atletico head and drifts just past the post. The resulting corner is headed away much more decisively by the home side.

Richard: Talk about playing for a penalty... And it's CLEARLY a free kick.
