Leicester have done incredibly well. Atletico know they've been in a game this evening and that is summed up by Diego Simeone going around and shaking the hand of every single Leicester player. He's got big respect but they were under pressure in the second half and he knows it.

I don't think Atletico Madrid will play in a more difficult second half of football than against Leicester.

All credit to Craig Shakespeare. Leicester were outplayed in the first half and Atletico Madrid were all over them. Shakespeare made a difference and changed it in the second half and they put Atletico Madrid under immense pressure, but scoring three goals in the second half was always going to be difficult. They've done themselves no disservice whatsoever.

Tomorrow, maybe, the long-term planning begins for Leicester. No European football next season, no permanent manager in place, question marks over a few key players.

Where do you go from here?

You don't get many receptions like this after going out. The Leicester fans are, to a man, on their feet applauding.

It's the end of a victory parade which started last May, in a way.

Did all of that really happen? YES IT DID.

Diego Simeone shakes the hands of all of the Leicester players, and is now applauding the home fans. The Foxes gave it a good go, especially in that second half.

They gave it their all, but Atletico always had enough in the tank. A class outfit who could well reach the final again.

Kasper Schmeichel goes up for a corner, and why not, but it comes to nothing.

It's been a wonderful defensive display from Atletico Madrid, but Diego Simeone is going nuts at someone!

Josh Earl: Another twist. I want Real Madrid to go through but that is a shocking decision. Won the ball. Really poor refereeing.

David Robinson: And the referee has ruined what was set up to be a great end to this tie with ludicrous red card.

Andrew Priestley: Same old Real Madrid, benefitting from extremely poor officiating. Not a bit of wonder they've won 11 European Cups!

  20. RED CARD - Arturo Vidalpublished at 84 mins

Real Madrid 1-2 Bayern Munich (Agg: 3-3)

He got the ball! He missed a penalty in the first leg and now Arturo Vidal has been shown a second yellow for a challenge which, for me, looked fair enough.
