  1. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 50 mins

Leicester 0-1 Atletico Madrid (Agg: 0-2)

What a run! Antoine Griezmann picks the ball up on halfway, somehow finds a gap where there is none, drives into the penalty area and squares it for Yannick Carrasco.

Carrasco goes down as Marc Albrighton puts an arm on his shoulder - a deep breath and no decision from referee Gianluca Rocchi.

Leicester need something early. It was very, very flat at half-time and they need a goal in the first 10 minutes or so to raise themselves and raise the crowd.

  3. Postpublished at 48 mins

The corner comes to nothing for Leicester, who now have Christian Fuchs playing at centre-back.

Jeremiah Kariuki: All not going according to book for Leicester! Need to score at least 2 quick goals if they are to progress!

Billy Boy: Hoping Leicester turn this around, but they're going to need a bit of luck + a cracking second-half. Would like to see Gray too

Kindinu Kakumba: The Foxes must now go for broke. No goals, no progress and they are aware of that

The biggest half-time team talk of Craig Shakespeare's short managerial career. He has Andy King, Ahmed Musa, Leo Ulloa and Demarai Gray on the bench.

    Time to go for broke?

Bayern need to score at least twice in the next 45 minutes if they are to stand any chance of progressing. However...

Joshua Edwards: Shakespeare's shortcomings as a coach being ruthlessly exploited by a genuine manager in Simone. Snake only has one bite

Richard Clayton: Can Leicester produce an unlikely comeback in the second half? We can't say this team haven't stunned us before...

Ray O'Brien: Atletico are the kings of the 2 leg tie. Just look at some of the scalps they've earned over the years in the CL. No chance

  12. Postpublished at 20:41 British Summer Time 18 April 2017

Why would Diego Simeone leave Atletico Madrid to come to the Premier League?

And, while we're at it, and just to unleash the hounds of twitter, why would Antoine Griezmann?...

Stewart Macintosh: And that's why the Gunners need Simeone next season. Please. Pretty Please.

Roddy Wallace: How clever is the total lack of attacking threat and 1-0 defeat at the Calderon looking now?

Kieran Flay: Leicester are going to need to do an Instanbul in the second half... Come on!!!

The last English team to come back from 1-0 down at half-time to win a Champions League game were Arsenal v Barcelona in February 2011.

No criticism of Leicester but - that's a rubbish record isn't it?

You couldn't say Leicester have done much wrong, Atletico just a class above.

They finished above Bayern Munich in their group and have reached the final twice in three years.

Unfortunately for Leicester they've just come up against a very, very good side. Atletico Madrid are well organised, technically brilliant and Leicester are struggling to get into the game at all.

  17. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:31 British Summer Time 18 April 2017

Real Madrid 0-0 Bayern Munich (Agg: 2-1)

Here's a rarity - the half-time whistle blown without a second of stoppage-time. Maybe referee Viktor Kassai needs a comfort break.

Gareth O'Leary: If Leicester make it to the dressing room at half-time 1 down, someone in there needs to evoke LFCvOlympiakos 2005

Steve Downes: Leicester need a certain Italian gentleman in the dugout now. This is his stage.

Kindinu Kakumba: Leicester's UCL journey is seemingly coming to an end.

It's not happening in front of goal for Real Madrid. Marcelo turns into a slalom skier, skipping around Bayern defenders like they are Olympic gates as he runs from his own half to the brink of the Bayern area.

The Brazil left-back unselfishly squares to Cristiano Ronaldo on the left side of the box - he blazes over into Row Z.
