I've just seen that Kasper Schmeichel save from a few minutes ago, he actually made a great sliding tackle on Yannick Carrasco, he came through the Belgian a touch but he won the ball.

I'm not sure Leicester have a plan B. This is what worked for them last season in the Premier League, letting the opposition have position and hitting them on the counter attack. 

Unfortunately they've just come up against one of the best teams in Europe. Not only are Atletico one of the best teams, but they're a team who will put up a fight with you.

Leicester can't get in the game. You look at the bench and they haven't got much threat. They've got to change something because at the moment they're being absolutely dominated.

Oooh that is nearly two for Atletico as Yohan Benalouane dives in to make a rash tackle on the edge of his own area, it's all a bit last ditch as Kasper Schmeichel spreads himself and makes a fine save to deny Yannick Carrasco.

The man in black is stalking the touchline with menace. Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone, in trademark black overcoat and suit, is almost encroaching on to the pitch on occasions as he tries to get close to the action.

No serious concerns yet for the Argentine as his Atletico side currently look a cut above Leicester City. The Premier League champions need to find a spark.

Beautiful flow to this game. Neither side sitting back, plenty of energy. We're just lacking a goal. Don't worry, one will arrive...

Atletico Madrid are making this look easy in possession, moving Leicester around from side to side. They are a very good side. You don't get to two finals in three years without being one.

The Madrid machine is starting rev. Toni Kroos spurns another presentable chance for the Spanish leaders after David Alaba dillies and dallies in his own area.

The ball is laid off to Kroos on the edge of the Bayern area, only for the Germany midfielder to fire inches over.

And seconds later Cristiano Ronaldo shoots straight at Manuel Neuer. Karim Benzema was unmarked to his left. He is furious.

Mahrez did well there. It was a really high, looping clearance and he produced was a decent strike. Either side of him might have caused a problem but unfortunately it's straight at Oblak.

Just look at Simeone on the touchline. He is absolutely furious that no one closed Mahrez down. 

Those are the sort of chances you need to go in when you're in Leicester's position. A corner is cleared, recycled back in and half cleared again. The ball is in the air for a long time but drops nicely for Riyad Mahrez, maybe 18 yards out, he watches it right on to his laces but smacks a volley straight at Jan Oblak. 

Johnny Magrinho: After 10 seconds of silence when the goal went in, the pub exploded with cheers of "Come on boys!" Amazing. Down but not out..

Sofia Be: Boom. And that, ladies and gentlemen, is how you play a QF in the Champions League.

Asega Martin: Atletico have Leicester exactly where they wanted. Leicester need 3 goals which looks highly unlikely.

Saul drills a rising 20-yarder at Kasper Schmeichel at the end of another decent Atletico counter. An easy save. 

Mark this one down in your diary: the date and time that Manuel Neuer makes a complete hash of a routine save.

The Bayern keeper spills a cross from the right flank, but it is helped out of bother by Jerome Boateng. The centre-back reacts quickly to hack Sergio Ramos' rebound off the line.

The Madrid skipper should have scored.

James Foster: Had a feeling that not scoring in Madrid would come back to haunt Leicester. Never had any doubt that Atletico would score away

Leicester need three goals, Atletico have conceded four all season in the Champions League.

Understandably, that goal briefly dampens the fires inside the King Power. It also means that we cannot have extra time or penalties now.

Leicester must score three times in an hour. Impossible? Nope. Improbable.

What a header that was, absolutely unbelievable. It's an unbelievable ball from Filipe Luis, he picks out his man and whips it in to the far post. Saul is unmarked and it's a perfect header, absolutely textbook. Kasper Schmeichel is rooted to the spot and it almost looked slow motion. That's very cruel for Leicester.

Jamie Vardy is definitely thinking about having a party tonight, and Riyad Mahrez is considering attending.

The Algerian has not had a great season but he's showing glimpses of his best form just when his team need him,. First he leads three defenders astray on the wing, and then he pops up in the centre, driving in and finding Vardy on the overlap - but he's offside. 

The jeering of the Bayern players when they are in possession has quietened somewhat since the opening few minutes. That's probably because the Madridistas are sick of whistling. Bayern have enjoyed almost 60% possession in the opening 20 minutes.

But wait... Madrid create their best chance of the game. Karim Benzema's header from Marcelo's left-wing cross lacks conviction though and squirms wide.
