Celta Vigo moved the ball very well in the first 10 minutes but after the goal they started to feel sorry for themselves.

It is not unusual for Jose Mourinho to head for the tunnel long before the half-time whistle has sounded at Old Trafford.

He went nowhere tonight.

Mourinho knows this competition is the difference between his debut campaign at Manchester United being regarded as a success or failure, not to mention a potential hit in excess of £20m from their sponsorship deal with Adidas for failing to qualify for the Champions League two seasons running.

Sisto has been impressive over the two legs - he has been their best player without a doubt. 

There will be a lot of clubs chasing him when the season ends. 

Should be another for Ajax! What sort of a game will they give Manchester United, if the two sides progress?

Paul Pogba latches on to a knockdown from a goal kick and cracks a shot away, clearly deflected over the top but the officials only give a goal kick, much to the chagrin of the world's most expensive player.

Jose Mourinho really is doing a lot of pointing.

He was trying to organise his defence from fully 50 yards away at a Celta Vigo free-kick just then.

After that he kicked the ground in anger when his team did not attack the way he wanted.

John Murray is speculating that Celta Vigo may withdraw a midfielder and go with two up front soon. They do play that system from time to time and they need two goals of course.

If they were to score twice, they would be ahead on away goals.

It's a yellow - minimum. He has shown his studs and they don't like that in Spain. 

This is not like Blind. He is normally very good on the ball. 

Daley Blind, who could well be up against his old club Ajax in the final later this month, is in the book for a lunge which is high and late. The Celta players want a red card for that.

Megs! Lovely from Henrikh Mkhitaryan again, what a cracking player he is (on his day).

A nutmeg, a one-two, and a cross into the middle which almost finds Marcus Rashford and almost serves up number two. I'm expecting big things from Mkhitaryan next season.
