Arsenal have been magnificent for the first half hour and should be out of sight by now. They are up against a side of real durability in Chelsea, no matter how poor they have been so far - will they live to regret all these missed opportunities?

Diego Costa earns Chelsea a free-kick deep inside the opposition's half.

Pedro delivers but David Ospina's all over it.

Arsenal earn a free-kick in a dangerous area after Danny Welbeck appears to be clipped.

Sanchez floats it in and it comes out to Granit Xhaka, who drives the ball towards goal from distance and Thibaut Courtois makes a strong save.

Now Chelsea pile forward...

LADS, please. I can't keep up.

I mean, you really cannot say Arsenal have not created some excellent chances.....

Arsenal pile forward now and Gary Cahill has to come to the rescue again to deny Danny Welbeck from close range.

Welbeck should really square the ball to Aaron Ramsey but tries to score from a tight angle from just a few yards out and cannot do so.

Messy from Chelsea though. Messy, messy, messy.

David Ospina races out to palm away Diego Costa's toe-poke and the Arsenal keeper's head has been caught by Costa's leg. Purely accidental, though.

He looks a bit dazed but he needs to get back into action quickly. Chelsea have a corner.

Will Arsenal come to regret this miss?

Arsenal have flown out of the blocks and look quicker and more aggressive than Chelsea. There is almost an air of panic about the Premier League champions - although it is still very early days.

It's a long time since I've seen Antonio Conte's team as ragged and over-run as this and the Arsenal fans inside Wembley are loving it.

Eden Hazard is strolling into a dangerous area and lays the ball off to Victor Moses, whose shot is blocked and cleared by Arsenal midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

Now Matic feeds to Diego Costa on the left-hand side and Per Mertesacker makes a great challenge to deny the Blues forward.

Chelsea look heavy legged - don't know if they have been training too much or too little. There is not that usual zip or sharpness from the Premier League champions.

Arsenal have had 72% of the possession in this first 20 minutes.

They really have taken the game by the scruff of the neck.

It has been frantic and hectic but Arsenal have been by far the better side. Their concentration levels and their intensity has been better.

Chelsea cannot get going, so I can understand why manager Antonio Conte has told Cesc Fabregas to get warmed up.

Fans have asked for Mesut Ozil to put in a performance, he has been opening up the doors and been the best player on the pitch, he is causing Chelsea all sorts of problems.

Someone has got to get Chelsea going - will it be Fabregas, who is that type of player who can control the tempo of play.

But they are riding their luck at the moment. None of us called this. Fair play to the Arsenal players.

Another chance for the Gunners!

Mesut Ozil's corner comes in, Danny Welbeck's header hits the post and bounces on to the chest of Aaron Ramsey.

Ramsey knows nothing about it, and the ball hits the post AGAIN before rolling out.

There's been so much happening I haven't had the chance to discuss Mesut Ozil's terrible 90s boyband highlights in his hair.
