Juventus played their part in a very good opening 45 minutes but there has only been one team in it this half. It's been total dominance.

You don't get many more commanding second-half displays than that in a cup final. Juventus have been swatted away like a Gibraltarian qualifier.

How good was that from Marcelo? The touch and the turn was so quick and sharp. He goes past him with ease then picks his head up and puts in a superb ball for Asensio. What a goal. It's game over.

Kroos has been excellent again in that midfield alongside Luka Modric. They've dominated this game over Juventus. The one and two touch passing from them both has been superb. That was a very, very good performance.

Tears in the Juve end as they assess the damage. Tough to lose in a final. Real have a free-kick Ronaldo is on a hat-trick...

Real Madrid are going to win their 12th Champions League/European Cup trophy. AC Milan are next cab on the rank with seven wins.

It is going to be a seventh defeat in the final for Juve. Also a record.

Toni Kroos comes off, as Alvaro Morata comes on.

That was a big opportunity for Mandzukic. It looked as if he didn't want to head it. He was six or seven yards out! It's a free header. It looked as if he pulled away.

Mario Mandzukic gets that all wrong, mistimes his jump and misses a free header just seven yards out. Not your day, despite the sensational goal.

Juan Cuadrado touched the ball six times by the way. Not the greatest cameo of all time.

There was no need for Ramos to go down in front of the linesman. There's nothing wrong with him. What has he gone down for? It was a brilliant tackle first from Ramos. Cuadrado was silly but there was no need from Ramos.

Sergio Ramos is involved in a red card but it's not for him - it's Juan Cuadrado!

You can't send him off for that! Cuadrado, already booked, is taken down by a cracking challenge from Ramos. As they get up Cuadrado puts a hand on the back of Ramos, who goes down. And is shown a second yellow.

That has never been a red card.

Isco's been excellent. He's been involved in everything. He's demanded the ball constantly and he's been a nuisance for Juventus all night.

A Juve goal now would make it interesting and they come close to one! Dani Alves whips in a free kick and Alex Sandro nods the ball narrowly wide. Close!

Isco, this charming man, is off for Real. Superb in the second half, ball carrier, pass maker, heart breaker. On comes Marco Asensio.

Juventus are yet to have a shot in the second half, Real have had nine.

Gareth Bale for a tap-in...! No!

Almost, Cristiano Ronaldo put it on a plate for him but Leo Bonucci stretched just enough to clear it away. Superb defending.

There's the very real prospect of us seeing Gigi Buffon cry shortly. As if 2017 wasn't hard enough.

But there can be no complaints really. Juventus have been very second best since half time.

He wasn't going to take Ronaldo off when he was on a hat-trick! Benzema played the role perfectly tonight and did a lot of work off the ball. It enabled Ronaldo to use the space so effectively.

Gareth Bale does get 15 minutes or so. What a time to come on! 3-1 up, for Real Madrid, in your home city. Nice work if you can get it.
