They're working hard to get the ball back but when they have it they are shattered. Juventus are very heavy-legged at the minute.

    Juventus 1-3 Real Madrid

Real push on and hurt Juventus time and again, they can't cope with the purple haze any more. Karim Benzema has a shot blocked, Cristiano Ronaldo is close to reaching it and Marcelo then hammers the loose ball well over.

    Juventus 1-3 Real Madrid

Juventus have conceded as many goals in this game as they had done in all their previous 12 matches in this season's competition.

Is Gareth Bale going to get a very pleasant 10-15 mins in his hometown?

Excellent play from Real Madrid there. Benzema had the opportunity to shoot but he didn't and he feints inside. It was a wasteful shot in the end.

  5. YELLOW CARDpublished at 72 mins

    Juventus 1-3 Real Madrid

Juan Cuadrado, just on, is now booked for a foul on Cristiano Ronaldo.

On a perfect day maybe Gigi Buffon could have saved both of those goals, I agree. I don't think he had much chance with either though.

Real Madrid are purring now, this is great stuff as Karim Benzema gets away from his man, plays in Marcelo and his cross is fired over by Cristiano Ronaldo.

Bit of a battering for Buffon....

As much as Buffon is a legend, if Casemiro's goal had gone in past Navas he would have been battered. Very slow getting across, commentators say nothing.

    Andy, Loughborough

Buffon actually flinched for the 3rd goal. I know it's a human reaction, but a goalkeeper of his calibre needs to move forward and let that ball hit his face if it means saving it.

    Jon, Manchester.

That was also Ronaldo's 42nd goal in 46 games.

And this is his worst season in a long time? Yeah, I'd get rid of him!

  8. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 70 mins

    Juventus 1-3 Real Madrid

Claudio Marchisio is on for Miralem Pjanic in that Juventus midfield now. It's a midfield which has been run over by Modric, Kroos and Casemiro in this second half.

Right then Juventus. The engraver is warming up, he's probably made a mark for the first 'R' on the big old cup.

Can Juve find something, anything? They've done nothing in this half.

    Juventus 1-3 Real Madrid

Cristiano Ronaldo has 105 goals in the Champions League now. A phenomenal haul. He has turned from a sensational winger into a powerful, predatory targetman supreme.

That's 600 goals for club and country now. Imagine that.

  11. 'Ronaldo just too good'published at 21:13 British Summer Time 3 June 2017

    Alan Shearer
Former England striker on BBC Radio 5 live

On that occasion Juventus were caught standing still. They just let Ronaldo float into the area and he was too clever for them, too quick for them and too good for them.

Real Madrid have been streets ahead in this second half. They've had 61% of possession and had six shots to Juve's one.

Zinedine Zidane is turning into a hugely impressive manager.

  13. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 66 mins

    Juventus 1-3 Real Madrid

Fair play to Max Allegri, he's making a change. Juan Cuadrado is on for Andrea Barzagli, winger for centre-half. They'll go 4-4-2 now.

A cute, clever finish. No one sees him, no one picks him up. It's very sloppy from Juventus giving the ball away in the first place. You cannot give Ronaldo that sort of space three or four yards out.

  15. goal

GOAL - Juventus 1-3 Real Madridpublished at 21:09 British Summer Time 3 June 2017

    Cristiano Ronaldo (64 mins)

    That could be that.

Real have been clinical in front of goal and for once they profit from some not great defending from Juventus.

Luka Modric is sharp to the ball on the right, he plays a one-two and gallops in behind, putting in a cross right on the dead-ball line.

Leo Bonucci is caught on his toes, Cristiano Ronaldo is very much alive and he arrives at the near post to poke home form close range.

    Any way back from here?

    Juventus 1-2 Real Madrid

AC Milan, 1990, were the last team to win the European Cup two years in a row. Are we about to see history?

Juventus were superb in the first half but they've not got going at all since half time. Real have been the far better side.

It's another magnificent strike but I think you will find it took a touch on its way in. It sends Buffon the other way. No chance - right in the corner. It's a wicked deflection.

  18. goal

GOAL - Juventus 1-2 Real Madridpublished at 21:06 British Summer Time 3 June 2017

    Casemiro (61 mins)

An unlikely scorer! He's been a key man under Zinedine Zidane and anchor man Casemiro blasts Real back in front.

He strides on to the loose ball about 25 yards out, he crashes a shot in but it takes a whacking great deflection off the heel of Sami Khedira and curls, curls past Gigi Buffon and nestles in the corner.

It was going way wide too. A cruel stroke of luck for Juve, but Real deserve that lead.

Isco having one of his spells of influence, drifting into space and past a man but he shoots well wide off his left foot. Cristiano Ronaldo wanted the ball, of course he did. Juventus offering no threat at the moment.

We were spoilt in the first half with so many good passes. It's just got a little sloppy.
