Vardy the movie maybe a great film but judging on this season the sequel will be rubbish.
Dan, Newcastle upon Tyne
Southampton 2-0 Leicester
For a side 2-0 down, Leicester are far too casual in defence and it almost proves costly as Christian Fuchs' ball across the back is cut out by Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, who races through on goal but his finishing lets him down as he shoots wide of the post. A lucky escape for the Foxes.
Arsenal v Burnley (14:15 GMT)
Arsenal are unchanged for the visit of Burnley. Full team news to follow.
Southampton 2-0 Leicester
The loss of Virgil van Dijk would be a massive blow for Southampton, especially ahead of big games against Liverpool in the League Cup semi-finals and Arsenal in the Premier League this week.
The reshuffle in defence has given Leicester a bit of hope and Marc Albrighton tries his luck with a looping effort from distance but Fraser Forster claws the ball out of the air.

It doesn't look too serious an injury for Van Dijk. Hopefully for Southampton it is not.

For everyone saying Ranieri should get a free pass for last season, Clough got similar at Forest, he took them down and they've barely recovered since. There's no time for sentimentality when there is clear deficiencies

Southampton 2-0 Leicester
It was a false dawn for Southampton regarding Virgil van Dijk. He manages two further minutes on the pitch before dropping to the ground again, clutching his ankle. This time he cannot continue and he has to go off, with Jack Stephens on in his place.
Southampton 2-0 Leicester
Are Leicester too predictable in attack? Every time they get forward it seems to be through one of either Demarai Gray or Christian Fuchs, who then swings in a cross aimed for Jamie Vardy and Southampton clear.
Southampton 2-0 Leicester
No need to worry, Southampton fans. Virgil van Dijk is made of strong stuff and is back on the pitch.
Southampton 2-0 Leicester
Virgil van Dijk looks in some discomfort after getting a nasty knock on his ankle by Jamie Vardy while trying to stub out a Demarai Gray. The Saints really don't want to lose the centre defender. Big player for them.

To Jake at 12.45: Were you an Arsenal fan a few years ago? Unbelievable sense of entitlement. Whatever happens this season, you're very very lucky to have had last season, you're an embarrassment to Leicester's fan base.

Southampton 2-0 Leicester
Immediately Southampton are on the attack as Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg shoots from the edge of the area. The shot has plenty of power but little direction and it ends up closer to the corner flag than troubling Kasper Schmeichel.
The Foxes, by the way, made one change at the break with Marc Albrighton on for Nampalys Mendy.
Southampton 2-0 Leicester
My colleague has a massive smile on his face, confident that he is in for a straightforward match report and no late drama.
Should I remind him that Southampton were beating Leicester 2-0 last season at half-time, only to draw 2-2...
We're back under way.

David Melton: Anyone that says Ranieri has to go is talking nonsense. Surely he must have some credit left in the bank after winning the EPL
Arsenal v Burnley (14:15 GMT)
Bright blue skies above the Emirates as fans make their way to the ground for Arsenal versus Burnley. Team news should be dropping at around 13:15 GMT.

Tom West: We're desperately missing a creative player in the middle. Especially w/o Mahrez there's nobody to pick a pass to unlock a team
Marcus Tongue: An almighty drop in form and guile but you've got to say a lack of luck for Leicester. The ball just falls to the opposition...
Dan: I agree Ranieri has a lot of credit in the bank but where do you draw the line? Foxes getting battered every week and very few signs of anything changing.

Daniel Woodley: Vardy is a shadow of the player he was last season. One season wonder in other words
Andy White: Leicester need to play the Champions League anthem in the dressing room before coming out to play, that should do the trick.
Shaun Thacker: See lots calling for Ranieri to go. As if last season was the rule rather than the exception. Let's stay realistic people!

Looking at the evidence of this game, Leicester are bereft of the high standard in midfield they had last season.
