A lacklustre free-kick and the offside flag is up.

Salomon Rondon picks up the ball again, looking to set up James McClean, but Bruno Martins Indi gets the challenge in. There's a bit of back and forth, and that's a free-kick to the Baggies, given away by Phil Bardsley.

Erik Pieters gives away a free-kick after a foul on Jake Livermore. 

They're taking their time about it, as you might expect. It rolls safely into Lee Grant's path as the crowd start whistling.

End to end stuff now as Julien Ngoy has a shot in the box deflected. Bodies all over the show.

That's a poor corner from Glenn Whelan and Salomon Rondon breaks.

Jake Livermore is clear, he looks set to score - and that's a superb tackle from Joe Allen to deny him! Brilliant stuff from Allen, zipping in from the left and denying the Baggies a second.

Five minutes of stoppage time flashes up as Marko Arnautovic makes another fine run. West Brom manage to throw enough bodies in front of it but Jake Livermore ends up tipping it out for a corner.

Last minute now and you still think either side could nab a goal.

That's a yellow for Bruno Martins Indi, who makes it clear that he's not a fan of the referee's decision to give West Brom a free-kick.

Final change for West Brom. Off comes scorer James Morrison and on comes Sam Field.

Joe Allen's done a good day's work today. He works the ball out to Erik Pieters on the left, who batters his shot into a West Brom shirt.

Chris Brunt takes the corner, sending it deep, and Craig Dawson can't do anything but head it out of play.

A change for West Brom. It initially looks as though Salomon Rondon will make way for Hal Robson-Kanu but no, it's Matt Phillips.

Stoke's Ryan Shawcross is not happy about the debate.

An important block from Luke Shawcross ends West Brom's attack before Joe Allen gets back up the pitch.

The ball's flying up and down the pitch now, enthusiastically chased by blue and white shirts. Corner to West Brom.

The ball drops nicely for Marko Arnautovic, who beats Jake Livermore before the ex-Hull man hammers the ball away from the net.

This game keeps flowing both ways but it's Stoke on top now, before Darren Fletcher's long ball finds Salomon Rondon.

Oh, Erik Pieters!

Phil Bardsley sails a lovely ball in, Pieters is right in front of the net, maybe six yards out - and he heads it wide! He has his head in his hands as the ball sails across the face of the net. Dearie me.

Some to-ing an fro-ing between Stoke eventually finds Saido Berahino, who is greeted with plenty of boos.

He gets into a tangle though, treading on the ball and tripping slightly. West Brom clear, and the crowd cheer. Full on pantomime stuff.

Right under Lee Grant's nose comes Chris Brunt's corner, and the Stoke keeper is more than equal to it.

James Morrison skips away from Joe Allen, works the ball in from the right and Erik Pieters blocks it with his arm. Corner.

Quick as you like Stoke are back up the pitch. There's a touch too much hesitation from Julien Ngoy and the ball eventually rolls wide.

Matt Phillips again, finding James McClean on the left. McClean's a bit too gentle though and the ball rolls all along the floor and into Lee Grant's arms.
