Salomon Rondon slices the ball into the air and somehow manages to drop it into the perfect position. He batters it forward and the deflection lands for Darren Fletcher, but a cracking tackle from Glenn Whelan saves the day for Stoke.

Ooft! A superb batter from James McClean from wide on the left. He cut in and got good purchase with his right foot but Lee Grant watches it all the way and tips it over.

Here comes Joe Allen again, providing Julien Ngoy with his first touch of the game.

It all comes to nothing though as there's a loss of footing in the box.

A final roll of the dice for Mark Hughes, as Ibrahim Afellay is replaced by Julien Ngoy.

Rondon v Shawcross, conversation number 100 for the referee. This time it's Salomon Rondon who ends up on the floor, while Ryan Shawcross gets his last warning.

Chris Brunt lines up a free-kick that eventually comes out to James Morrison. He's under pressure though from Stoke, who are sprightly now.

Stoke get down to the other end and Brunt is called into action again, muscling Ibrahim Afellay out.

Nacer Chadli's work is done for the day. He get a warm round of applause as he departs. James McClean is on.

Bruno Martins swings the ball in and Gareth McAuley heads it straight back out. It's a tussle at the minute and Stoke are pushing West Brom around.

Stoke are looking more fluent now and West Brom are being forced to defend.

Glenn Whelan finds Marko Arnautovic but the Baggies intercept. They're so quick to break, but Matt Phillips makes a meal of his shot from the edge of th box.

Erik Pieters goes square with his free-kick this time and finds Phil Bardsley, who blazes into Ben Foster's arms.

Now West Brom break and James Morrison fancies another goal. It's not a bad shout but the ball was always rising and Lee Grant watches it comfortably over the net.

A free-kick for Stoke, much to Tony Pulis' displeasure. Erik Pieters takes it and it hammers into Matt Phillips, who jumps and blocks.

And that's a yellow for Phillips! He was too close, according to the ref. Free-kick take two.

I think Berahino is going to have a massive impact at Stoke City. All those boos will just be fuel to the fire.

Phil Bardsley has a fine crossing opportunity to meet Peter Crouch, but he ends up on his backside instead.

This is a good spell from Stoke though, putting the Baggies under pressure. Marko Arnautovic finds Joe Allen, but the shot skews wide.

Marko Arnautovic looks to be in as he momentarily nips away from Allan Nyom. He's in a good position to bend the ball in but Nyom recovers well and hustles him, the ball rolling safely into Ben Foster's arms.

Neither side have found their feet just yet. There's plenty of tapping about but not much fluency.

Ben Foster comes darting out of his area to take a tumbling catch, much to the appreciation of the fans.

Phil Bardsley has his hands on his head as he takes aim from outside the area.

Phillips sees Salomon Rondon's little dart forward and the free-kick finds his head.

The ball goes backwards, quickly towards Nacer Chadli, and he's can only knock the ball out of play.
