Manchester City have a rolling substitute warm-up policy.

Three go out to warm-up, the other three sit down.

No call for Sergio Aguero yet. Pablo Zabaleta first on instead.

Now Pep Guardiola turns to his bench... and summons Pablo Zabaleta. Sergio Aguero staying where he is for now.

I think Manchester City are going to need the second goal.

Swansea are a making better fist of it in the second half.

They should be out of sight by now but unless City get the second goal it will be a nervous final part of the game.

  5. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 76 mins

    Man City 1-0 Swansea

Second change for Swansea as Nathan Dyer replaces Tom Carroll. Sergio Aguero has been out to warm up for Manchester City but is back on the bench now. Pep Guardiola happy with things as they are for now but surely it won't be long before he makes a change? I can't see City scoring at the moment...

  6. YELLOW CARDpublished at 74 mins

    Man City 1-0 Swansea

Mike Dean levels things up in the yellow card stakes as he shows a second Swansea player a yellow card, booking Jack Cork for a strong foul.

I understand Wayne Rooney's absence from the Manchester United squad this afternoon is not injury related.

A neat touch by Gabriel Jesus puts David Silva through. The midfielder hesitates, giving the excellent Alfie Mawson time to get across and put a crucial block in.

  9. Postpublished at 70 mins

    Man City 1-0 Swansea

Manchester City are still persisting with three at the back, despite an increased threat from Swansea. The result is plenty of space for the visitors when they do get forward and Tom Carroll almost gets through inside the box, but his touch on the turn takes the ball too close to Willy Caballero

  10. Postpublished at 68 mins

    Man City 1-0 Swansea

Lukasz Fabianski was a busy man in the first half but it's been a much more comfortable shift in the second. I can't think of a save he has had to make, but he has to be alert as Aleksandar Kolarov rises to meet a corner but the Manchester City defender nods wide.

  11. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 65 mins

    Man City 1-0 Swansea

Just over an hour gone and Swansea make their first change. Wayne Routledge makes way for Luciano Narsingh, the former PSV winger making his second appearance for the Swan since joining last month.

Fi3ld: So Swansea player booked for exactly same as what Alonso did. Infact Alonso's was a lot worse. Didn't he just want it more??

Princewill Nwosu: If Llorente's elbow on Kolorov is a foul and a yellow, then I wonder how that goal by Alonso was allowed. Double standard.

They were purring earlier but now Manchester City are stuttering.

There have been a couple of resigned waves of the arms from Pep Guardiola on the touchline, although he is now patrolling his technical area somewhat anxiously.

City were so good in the first-half but whilst the scoreline stays like this, there is huge risk.

  14. CLOSE!published at 62 mins

    Man City 1-0 Swansea

    Another Swansea corner.

Gylfi Sigurdsson sends the ball into the mixer, no-one picks up Alfie Mawson's run and the Swansea defender flicks a header just wide.

The visitors are giving it a real good go in this half.

  15. YELLOW CARDpublished at 60 mins

    Man City 1-0 Swansea

Fernando Llorente leads with his elbow as he challenges Aleksandar Kolarov for the ball and picks up Swansea's first booking as a consequence.

There's a sudden roar from the away end. The Swansea fans had nothing to cheer about in the first half but the visitors have just won their first corner. Gylfi Sigurdsson whips in the ball but John Stones gets a good head to it and clears.

    Man City 1-0 Swansea

Kevin de Bruyne spots Raheem Sterling making a run and feeds the ball through the middle of the Swansea defence. Lukasz Fabianski saw what De Bruyne had in mind and was quick off his line to clear.

The home fans are just starting to get a bit restless.

You can see the belief in the Swansea players.

They came out of the traps in this second half really well. City have been poor since half time.

There is a lot more urgency about Swansea. It looks like they have a little bit more ambition.

    Man City 1-0 Swansea

Manchester City are not having it their own way in this half. Swansea have definitely come out with some fire in their belly and Gabriel Jesus is not getting the chance to cause as much trouble as he would like. He touches the ball into the path of Kevin de Bruyne, but Jack Cork gets  across to block the forward's pass across the edge of the area.

  20. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 51 mins

    Man City 1-0 Swansea

First attack of the half for Manchester City and it's inches away from producing their second. Leroy Sane is unmarked on the left flank and is picked out by Kevin de Bruyne. Sane, spotting Lukasz Fabianski off his line, attempts on audacious shot towards the near post but it clatters back off the woodwork.
