Luke: Sterling falling foul of his reputation for being one of the worst divers in the league. Not a dive this time, but 90% are.

Neil Leverett: Swansea can exploit Man City right second half. Get Narsingh on last 25 minutes

Zeb Bowyer: City's season has been resurrected by the second coming of Jesus. His speed, awareness and link up play is of the highest class

    ... what an effort!

Gylfi Sigurdsson arrows the free-kick towards the top corner but Willy Caballero superbly manages to push it onto the post.

A nervous moment for the hosts.

A Swansea goal would really put the cat amongst the pigeons. They have done something they didn't do in the first 45 minutes - attack and win a free kick 35 yards from goal. Good chance this...

Pep Guardiola looks like King Leonidas from 300 as he shouts a battle cry at his players as they jog back out onto the pitch.

For 45 minutes, it looked like Celtic's unbeaten record was in danger. They were 2-1 down to St Johnstone at half time.

Then Moussa Dembele came on and scored a hat-trick as Celtic won 5-2.

Brendan Rodgers' side are just the 27 points clear at the top of the Scottish Premiership table...

Pathetic, I've got to say. Raheem Sterling is one of the fastest on the pitch, he got to the ball first, the game goes on and then he gets a yellow.

It was unfair. I think it's poor from Mike Dean.

Fair to say Pep Guardiola did not agree with the yellow card against Raheem Sterling for diving just then.

The Manchester City boss was straight to the fourth official to register his complaint and it looked like he was yelling at referee Mike Dean as play switched to the home end of the field.

In fairness, other than scoring another goal or three, little else should be bothering Guardiola at half-time.

One minute tagged on at the end of the first half.

Will Manchester City rue scoring just the one goal? They are making this more work than it should be.

  10. YELLOW CARDpublished at 43 mins

    Man City 1-0 Swansea

Raheem Sterling is fuming. He is picked out by a wonderful ball from deep and clips a first-time cross into the middle of the area but as he does so he goes flying over Lukasz Fabianski's leg. Mike Dean thinks it is a dive and books Sterling. Tough call, but I don't think Sterling was looking for that.

Kevin de Bruyne swipes for the ball, misses and catches Martin Olsson's ankle. Yellow card and a free-kick midway inside the Manchester City half for Swansea. Gylfi Sigurdsson swings the ball in but City clear with ease.

It's colder than the Antarctic in the Manchester City half, Swansea have barely been in there. Tells you all you need to know that goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski has made more passes than any other Swansea player.

It's just wave after wave of Manchester City attacks. It's been a fine performance so far, although they have perhaps been too wasteful in the final third.

Pep Guardiola patrols the touchline, arms crossed and head down looking at the ground. He doesn't look overly chuffed. He knows City should be out of sight by now.

Kaushik Gorai: Is it just me or Gabriel Jesus kind of plays like Henry in his young days.

Love watching Gabriel Jesus' movement. He ghosts into space, anticipating a pass from David Silva but when he spots Silva make a change of direction he quickly adjusts to make himself available again. Swansea can't keep a tab on him.

It has taken some time, but this looks like a Pep Guardiola team.

Five in a line at the back when defending, with Yaya Toure in the middle.

In possession, the full-backs either hog the touchline or form a second bank of two, directly in front of their centre-halves.

David Silva is bossing midfield, with the pace of Gabriel Jesus, Raheem Sterling and Leroy Sane floating around up front.

Mesmeric football. Seems ludicrous to even think it, but Sergio Aguero simply doesn't fit in.

Swansea have hardly been near the ball. Fabianski made a top class save but he took a step early behind his way. If Yaya saw that, he might change his angle next time.

Swansea have adapted a little bit of a high press but they're not going in numbers. They need to change that or it'll be a long afternoon for them.
