    Stoke 1-1 Everton

Everton manager Ronald Koeman: "We had some good chances in the second half but I think it’s a fair result as the best chances in the first 45 minutes went to Stoke. Joel had to make two great saves.

"I’m really pleased about our performace today. It was a difficult start after going 1-0 down, but we had some good movement and chances."

On his side's controversial equaliser: "I think the defender touches the ball and that makes it a goal.

"I can understand why Mark Hughes is frustrated about that goal. First the linesman flagged for offside and then it’s a goal.

"It’s a very difficult situation for the referee because the linesman gave the offside. It’s clever from the referee to take a different decision.

"But I think after the game everyone knows 1-1 is a good result."

  3. 'A unique threat'published at 22:41 Greenwich Mean Time 1 February 2017

Stoke manager Mark Hughes on Peter Crouch's 100th Premier League goal: "A great moment for everyone to be in the stadium here to celebrate that.

"Everybody talks about his personalty and his character but above all he’s an exceptional football player.

"It’s fantastic. It’s credit to him. Since he’s come back into the side he’s been excellent. Everton found it very hard to cope with the unique threat he poses."

I think if Manchester City play the team they did tonight away from home against other teams they will be found out.

They are far too open. Yaya Toure, as the holding midfielder, won't get around enough against decent teams.

West Ham are the perfect team for Manchester City. They played 4-4-2 and were destroyed in midfield.

    Tactically it was a mess.

Jose continued: "Yesterday a fourth official told a manager 'I enjoy very much your passion' today I am told to sit down or I am going to be sent to the stand.

"Everything is different for me so don't ask me questions that put me in a difficult situation."

  8. 'Clearly he was in an offside position'published at 22:33 Greenwich Mean Time 1 February 2017

    Stoke 1-1 Everton

    Stoke City

Stoke manager Mark Hughes: "I thought we were the better team and had more clear-cut chances. Marko had a couple of real chances with one on ones and we didn’t convert them."

On Everton's goal, which was initially ruled out for offside: "They were able to get a fortunate goal, in my view Lukaku was offside. I don’t know what the referee has made of it, they’re obviously saying it came off Shawcross.

"Clearly he was in an offside position. He's made a movement to the ball and my understanding was if you do that you’re offside, so we’re a little bit aggrieved with that.

"We should have got the ball down and played on but we allowed Everton to surround the referee and reverse the decision.

"It's really disappointing because up to that point they had not created any chances."

  9. 'We deserved this point'published at 22:33 Greenwich Mean Time 1 February 2017

    Manchester United 0-0 Hull

    Hull City

Hull boss Marco Silva: “It is a very good result for us against a very good team. The secret We played like a team with a great attitude spirit and character. What we showed tonight again, I am happy. Sometimes you have to suffer in moments but we have to play as a team.

“Our goalkeeper had a good night, but I prefer to talk about all the team.

"We had a bad afternoon against Fulham but they played very well for me and showed a good attitude. I am sure with training we will improve.

“We had very good chances in transition. OK, Man United had chances to score too but we deserved this point.

“Jose is a fantastic coach. This was not Jose v Marco, it was Man United v Hull City."

Jose Mourinho is trying to keep a lid on his frustrations in his post-match press conference.

"You simply have to tell the truth. You will be doing a public service I think. Tell the truth. If that means you say Manchester United didn't play well in the first-half, so be it.

"Don't ask me questions I cannot answer. You know clearly I am different. The rules for me are different. I am different in everything. I watch my team from the hotel. I was forbidden to go to the stadium."

Manchester United striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic: "We are very disappointed. If you don’t win the games, you should be disappointed. We had great chances to score and we should have won. It was a very important game.

“I did not see any chances where it was difficult for the goalkeeper, it was not a good save from Juan Mata, it was a bad finish. Some saves he made for the cameras."

West Ham boss Slaven Bilic told BBC Sport that today's game was like a "copy and paste" from their 5-0 home defeat by Manchester City in the FA Cup last month.

"It’s very frustrating. We made such mistakes for the first and third goal. If you give the ball away in those areas, they’ll punish you.

"When it’s 3-0, it’s hard to play against them. You are hoping if you score you can turn a game around. But at 3-0 it’s more likely you'll concede more as they’ll gain confidence.

"It's a heavy defeat for us but we can’t let it hurt us a lot. We have to bounce back like we did after the FA Cup defeat.

"Robert Snodgrass is a good player. It’s hard to come on at 4-0 down but he showed quality. We have a good team. Tomorrow we’ll start preparing for the weekend's game. We’ll have to stay positive to get back on winning track."

In many games Manchester United have created a whole bunch of chances but don't get the goal.

Mourinho must be thinking he has got Rooney, Zlatan, Rashford, Martial, one of them will get the goals but it isn't happening.

It is one of those that could click any minute.

"I sit with my staff and take decisions based on the performance of the past. I’m a guy who likes to involve as much players as possible."
