It is not unusual for Jose Mourinho to head for the tunnel early.

He strolled for a bit, watching the game, saw Hull get awarded a free-kick, waved his arm and marched towards the dressing rooms.

He had disappeared completely when United had their last attack.

Graham Ball: It's about time Pogba was given a few games off - well not being named in the team as he's had the last few games off already!

Queens Park Rangers have an equaliser at St James' Park on the stroke of half-time courtesy of Conor Washington.

If that one stays the same, Brighton will remain top of the table tonight.

Elsewhere, promotion chasing Fulham have taken the lead against Burton Albion through Stefan Johansen.

    Blackburn against Leeds remains 0-0.

  7. City passing tears Hammers apartpublished at 20:49 Greenwich Mean Time 1 February 2017

    West Ham 0-3 Man City

All of Manchester City's goal have been well worked but maybe most impressive was David Silva's (21) effort to make it 2-0. The Spaniard played the ball to Bacary Sagna on his own half and 14 seconds later was tapping the ball into an empty net.

Leroy Sane (19) was the main man who made it happen out left for City.

  9. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:48 Greenwich Mean Time 1 February 2017

    Manchester United 0-0 Hull City

Hull have a half-hearted penalty shout right on half time but there's the whistle.

  10. Postpublished at 20:47 Greenwich Mean Time 1 February 2017

    Manchester United 0-0 Hull

Terrible shot. Hull work the ball patiently and politely across the midfield and Lazar Markovic, who Liverpool invested £20m in, fluffs it a mile over the bar. Devoid of even the most basic of technique.

    Another stunner in Madrid.

    Guess who? Mr Lionel Messi.

He has put Barcelona 2-0 up in the Copa del Rey semi-final first leg with a fierce left foot strike from outside the area going in off the inside of the post.

Five minutes to go until half-time.

  13. What's Jose talking about?published at 20:43 Greenwich Mean Time 1 February 2017

    Man Utd 0-0 Hull

    Simon Stone
    BBC Sport at Old Trafford

So far during the first-half, Jose Mourinho has had three long chats with the fourth offical Stuart Atwell and another with the nearside linesman.

I am not entirely sure what his problem is, although his resigned response to Hull getting a free-kick just then suggests he feels the visitors are breaking the game up.

I think he just muttered something to Hull boss - and fellow Portuguese - Marco Silva just then as well.

  14. GREAT SAVE!published at 20:43 Greenwich Mean Time 1 February 2017

    Man Utd 0-0 Hull

Hull goalkeeper Eldin Jakupovic has not been bombarded, but what he has saved has been stunning.

This time he denies United midfielder Paul Pogba, whose left-footed shot was heading for the net before the Bosnian-born Swiss stopper thrust out a right hand to push the ball away.

    A wonderful stop.

Mwalimu Pedro: Where is Pogba? Every time he has a new hairdo his skills go out the window. Mourinho must give him a hairdryer at half time!

AADZ: Wow., This is really really poor from MUFC slow ponderous & Pogba passing in the crowded centre rather then out wide

Dharma Djojonegoro: Come on United! Zlatan Pogba Herrera where are you?? Time to earn your paychecks!

West Ham are just the type of team that it suits Man City to play against.

The space on this pitch, and the Etihad is big as well, West Ham are too spread out.

When Manchester City isolate individuals they don't need a trick, they just run by them.

I am thinking, looking at Slaven Bilic, I have no idea how he is going to change this.

  17. goal

GOAL - Stoke 1-1 Evertonpublished at 20:39 Greenwich Mean Time 1 February 2017

    Seamus Coleman (39 mins)

Absolute chaos but I think the right decision in the end. Seamus Coleman cuts inside on to his left foot inside the area, he hits a cross which ends up in the back of the net.

Originally it looked like Romelu Lukaku had scored from an offside position and it was ruled out, but it actually went in off Ryan Shawcross.

After consultation the officials give the goal.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has another shot, left-footed this time on an angle, but it's relatively easy for Eldin Jakupovic to fall on to.

About 10 minutes left at Old Trafford.

  20. Postpublished at 20:35 Greenwich Mean Time 1 February 2017

    Stoke 1-0 Everton

The first thing of real promise I've seen from Morgan Schneiderlin in the Everton midfield, he lifts the ball over the head of Glenn Whelan and then sets Tom Davies on his bike with a lovely pass. He'll be a good signing for Everton won't he?
