Reading 0-1 QPR
Off the crossbar for Reading and Yann Kermorgant almost heads an equaliser.
Garath McCleary with the hanging cross from the right but the Frenchman's header was always on the rise.
Reading 0-1 QPR
Still the chances comes for QPR and still it remains 1-0.
Another corner evades Reading shirts and falls to Darnell Furlong who can't quite fully connect with the shot.
Reading 0-1 QPR
Reading hanging on a touch here. Idrissa Sylla could've had a hat-trick alone for QPR.
His latest effort with his left-foot deflects off two Reading defenders and just wide to the right of goal.
Reading 0-1 QPR
Jamie Mackie continues to be the target man for QPR.
Shows a lovely neat turn and spin just inside Reading's area, but the shot is tame and straight at Ali Al Habsi.
Reading 0-1 QPR
Mick Gooding
Ex-Reading player/manager on BBC Radio Berkshire
"I'd be surprised if Jaap Stam doesn't make a change in the next five to 10 minutes.
"If there are no more goals in the next 10 minutes, I don't think we'll see any more."
That's a bold prediction, Mick...
Reading 0-1 QPR
Much better tempo to this second half, from both sides it has to be said.
Reading 0-1 QPR
Roy Beerens almost in on goal for Reading from a ball over-the-top.
The Dutchman goes to line up a half-volley, but Jake Bidwell is across to block his effort inside his own penalty box.
Reading 0-1 QPR
Break on again from QPR as Reading over-commit in search of an equaliser.
Pawel Wszolek squares to Idrissa Sylla along the penalty area and his low left-foot shot is palmed away by a combination of Ali Al-Habsi and Liam Moore.
Reading 0-1 QPR
Chance for Reading. but Yann Kermorgant's ball back across the QPR area only finds open space.
John Swift is not quite on his wavelength on that break, and another opportunity goes by for Jaap Stam's men.
Reading 0-1 QPR
Liam Kelly's looked Reading's most likely source of goals tonight with his delivery from free-kicks.
Another dangerous ball in from the right doesn't find a blue and white hooped shirt though and Roy Beerens has little more luck with another cross from the left.
Reading 0-1 QPR
OK, I may have been a bit off on my attendance prediction just now.
The official figure has just come through as 12,103. The home contingent still with little to cheer.
Reading 0-1 QPR
Brace yourself for this absolutely fantastic stat.
Jamie Mackie's first-half strike was his first goal in an away match since March 2015 when, believe it or not, he scored in Reading's 1-1 draw at Bolton.
As things stand his efforts tonight are doing damage to his former employers, and guiding QPR towards a third successive league triumph.
Reading 0-1 QPR
Back-to-back corners for QPR come to nothing but a strong show of intent from Ian Holloway's men.
Reading pinned back inside their own half at the start of the second 45 minutes.
Reading 0-1 QPR
Positive start to the second half for QPR as first Darnell Furlong puts a dangerous ball into the area and then Jake Bidwell takes a shot from outside the area that deflects wide of goal.
Reading 0-1 QPR
And we resume in Berkshire.
Apparently the crowd this evening is less than 10,000. Not ideal on a chilly evening for keeping warm...
There was some sad news earlier today, as it was announced that former England, Watford and Aston Villa manager Graham Taylor has died at the age of 72.
A family statement said: "With the greatest sadness, we have to announce that Graham passed away at his home early this morning of a suspected heart attack.
"The family are devastated by this sudden and totally unexpected loss."
Sir Elton John was owner of Watford while Taylor was manager and is one of many to have paid tribute to him: "We will cherish Graham and drown our sorrows in the brilliant memories he gave us."
Leeds v Derby (Friday, 19:45 GMT)
This evening's game is the first in the Championship for a whole 10 days but fear not, you won't have to wait that long for the next one.
Tomorrow night sees the meeting of two heavyweights - Leeds and Derby - at Elland Road.
United have have already equalled their tally of 14 league wins for the whole of the 2015-16 season, while Steve McClaren led the Rams to victory in the reverse fixture in October, which was his first game since being reappointed as manager.
With both sides in the promotion picture it promises to be eventful, and we'll be covering it right here from 19:30 GMT tomorrow.
Right, let's hope for a more eventful second half than what we've just witnessed....
HT: Reading 0-1 QPR
Mick Gooding
Ex-Reading player/manager on BBC Radio Berkshire
"They (Reading) haven't created a chance unfortunately.
"They've created nothing - they've not been able to get behind the QPR defenders, and that's been the problem.
"They need to win the ball higher up the pitch at times and play with more tempo, and work a little harder out of possession."
Reading 0-1 QPR
And that is that for the first half in this one.
As has been the case for much of this season, Reading with most of the possession, but little to show for it so far.
Jamie Mackie is the man to have done the damage against his former club and QPR could've had more.
