    Their SEVENTH move of the day sees Grimsby striker Omar Bogle make the move to the Latics.

    He has scored 19 goals in League Two this season.

    He joins Gabriel Obertan, Matt Gilks, Mikael Mandron, Josh Laurent, Alex Bruce and James Weir.

    Manchester City have agreed a deal to sign Venezuela Under-20 international Yangel Herrera.

    The deal was confirmed by Herrera’s club, Atletico Venezuela, this evening.

    The club said Herrera would be available to City once he has finished competing at the current South American Under-20 Championships being held in Paraguay.

    It was reported earlier that if the transfer went through, City would likely loan the 19-year-old central midfielder to sister club New York City.

    Middlesbrough left-sided player Mark Kitching has joined on a permanent 18-month deal.

    It has been reported that the League One club would receive 30% of the transfer fee for their former player Scott Hogan. Hogan has just joined Aston Villa for £12m.

    A late double signing for Port Vale.

    The League One club have signed goalkeeper Leonardo Fasan on loan from Celtic and Danny Pugh on a permanent transfer from Blackpool.

    Both deals run until the end of the season.

    The club sold goalkeeper Jak Alnwick to Rangers on Monday.

    Scott Hogan has scored 14 goals this season for Brentford, and 21 league goals in 27 starts since moving from Rochdale for £750,000.

    He has had two bad knee injuries but has been compared to Jamie Vardy, external after coming through the non-league circuit.

    Tottenham are on a par with Chelsea in terms of their defence but I look at their bench and I don’t see enough game changers there. 

    Chelsea can bring Pedro on Liverpool can bring Sturridge on and I look at Tottenham’s bench and I just wonder if they have enough.

    Bad news for the Imps

    A bizarre decision on the face of it. National League leaders Lincoln City, who are also in the FA Cup fifth round, have sold striker Theo Robinson back to one of his former clubs, Southend.

    Southend are in League One but that decision, taken at 22:58 GMT, could surely cost the Imps dearly...
