City have got too much quality for them now. It is good football, quick passing and sharp movement.

Huddersfield had chances to clear the ball on the edge of the box but they dwelled on it. You can't do that against this quality. It has got to go.

Manchester City got annoyed at going a goal down. Another goal before half-time and this game would be over.

Everything Aguero did in the build-up was brilliant. He's at it today.

This could get ugly now. City put daylight between themselves and their Championship opponents. Aguero is found in the box and after his angled shot is blocked, he has enough awareness to pick out Pablo Zabaleta in the six-yard box for the simplest of finishes. Game over?

It's not usual you see Sergio Aguero missing in a one-on-one. You feel Manchester City could score at any time.

It is all City now. The woodwork prevents Aguero scoring what could well have been the killer goal. The Argentine runs clear but strokes his shot against the post after beating Coleman.

It looked a bit soft to me. Maybe the referee Paul Tierney felt a bit of pressure with that one. Don't know how many more decisions could have gone by without him blowing the whistle.

Nice penalty from Sergio Aguero though, the keeper goes a tad early.

He's got the wrong side of him, there's no doubt about that. He can't complain. They were going to get one eventually.

What a very confident penalty kick that was. Wait for the goalkeeper to go to his left and then clipped it the other way.

Aguero makes no mistake from the spot, side-footing the ball high and right into Coleman's net as the keeper dives the other way.

City have stepped it up in a big way. Town have a huge task on their hands just to keep their head above water now.

The momentum has shifted hugely. City have a big chance to take the lead as Sergio Aguero is bundled to the floor in the box by Stankovic as he tries to reach a cross.

On chances, City have deserved the equaliser.

It was great footwork from Raheem Sterling to whip it in, and that's what you want from the opposite wide-man Leroy Sane - get in the box and get some goals.

The ball was played across to Raheem Sterling, he's on fire at the moment. He looks like he can beat anyone with pure pace but at the moment he's got tricks and dummies too.

The pressure has told. City are level. A long ball picks out Raheem Sterling on the right of the box - initially prompting another handball call against Tareiq Holmes-Dennis, whose arm was up. The City winger makes that academic, though, driving a low ball in to the six-yard box, past the Town keeper and into the path of Leroy Sane , who can't miss.

Huddersfield have had some luck but you have to have some luck if you're going to win when you're playing away at a superior side.

Good defensive header from Mark Hudson denies Man City as Raheem Sterling looks to chip a cross up for Fernandinho. It is a corner, which is taken to the near post and causes a moment of panic before being cleared.

Billing look to set up a Huddersfield attack following a period of neat passing but his floated pass to the left nips out of play ahead of its intended target.

Town have weathered a bit of  a storm. They can't relax but they can be very proud of their efforts in the first half hour.

City are knocking heavily on the Huddersfield door, as you can see from the possession stats.

Hogging the ball has led the home side to having five shots at the Terriers goal, while the visitors have bagged with their only effort.
