It was Monaco's first attack of the second half.

City played a really high line and it was a free header for Tiemoue Bakayoko. You cannot allow attackers to get that much space.

There is another goal in this game, I put my life on it.

Monaco 3-1 Manchester City (agg 6-6)

Out of nothing, Monaco extend their lead on the night but it is poor marking by Manchester City.

The hosts have not had a sniff in this half but a free-kick 30 yards from goal is sent into the box by Thomas Lemar. No-one picks up Tiemoue Bakayoko and he heads in.

As it stands, Monaco are through on away goals.

  5. YELLOW CARDpublished at 75 mins

Monaco 2-1 Manchester City (agg 5-6)

Raheem Sterling picks up a yellow for a foul and that's bad news for the forward. He will miss the quarter-final if City go through.

Fifteen minutes remaining. These are huge for Manchester City. A goal for Monaco means they will go through on away goals.

  6. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 73 mins

Monaco 2-1 Manchester City (agg 5-6)

Monaco had made a change just before that goal with Almamy Toure on for Andrea Raggi.

Did the hosts use up all their energy in the first half? Chalk and cheese.

Atletico Madrid 0-0 Bayer Leverkusen (agg 4-2)

Take a bow Jan Oblak. The Atletico keeper produces two superb saves to deny Julian Brandt and then Kevin Volland in the same attack before Chicharito fires across goal and wide.

It probably wouldn't have made a difference to the tie, but this Atletico team are not ones for taking their eye off the ball.

Into the final 20 minutes here. Atletico heading for the last eight.

City have been brilliant in the second half, poor as they were in the first.

Leroy Sane has looked mostly likely to score and you can see them getting more.

They have played like the Manchester City their manager Pep Guardiola said they would.

  9. Sane puts City in chargepublished at 72 mins

Monaco 2-1 Manchester City (agg 5-6)

It's been coming and hats off to Pep Guardiola, his tactical switch for the second half has done wonders.

Kevin de Bruyne is revelling in a deeper role and another brilliant pass finds Raheem Sterling, whose shot towards the far corner is palmed into Leroy Sane's path and he slams the ball into the roof of the net.

Now it is the City fans who you can hear as Monaco supporters fall silent.

Danijel Subasic could have had a nap in the first half, so untroubled was he in the Monaco box but he is earning his money now. Sergio Aguero again almost threatens to get a shot off but races off his line to clear at Aguero's feet.

City have 20 minutes to find a goal.

City have to get the ball quicker to the right hand side.

I could turn quicker than Djibril Sidibe at the moment.

Another chance for Manchester City as David Silva sends Leroy Sane away. The forward has Raheem Sterling and Sergio Aguero in support but he goes for glory and finds the sidenetting.

Monaco are under real pressure now. Totally different half to the first.

What an opportunity for Sergio Aguero. He was one-on-one but goalkeeper Danijel Subasic came out really quickly and spread himself well.

    Should have been 2-1.

Manchester City are dialling it up now as Fernandinho plays a great ball over the top for David Silva. He cuts inside his marker and picks out Sergio Aguero. The striker is one-on-one but his first touch is uncharacteristically poor, giving Danijel Subasic time to get off his line, close down the gap and make the block.

Monaco have gone. The right-back Djibril Sidibe is running in quick sand.

City are right back in this game, they need to get it correct in the final third.

We have our first shot for Manchester City!

Leroy Sane skips over a challenge to race into the box and he feeds Sergio Aguero, whose shot is deflected over.

One hour in and still no shots on or off target for Manchester City. The players are not quite delivering on Pep Guardiola's promise of attacking football...

Still, one goal for City and it will be Monaco who have to force something.

Atletico Madrid 0-0 Bayer Leverkusen (agg 4-2)

Antoine Griezmann has had a quiet night so far but his first real opportunity nearly yields the opening goal. He beats the offside trap and also keeper Leno with a chipped effort that floats agonisingly wide of the far post. Almost brilliant.

30 minutes to go in Spain. Bayer need to twist in a big way (three times to be precise). Atletico are happy to stick.

  20. YELLOW CARDpublished at 59 mins

Monaco 2-0 Manchester City (agg 5-5)

Referee Gianluca Rocchi, who is not shy of dishing out a few bookings in a game, shows a couple of yellows in quick succession as Kevin de Bruyne and Tiemoure Bakayoko are both booked for poor challenges.

That yellow means Bakayoko will be suspended for the quarter-finals IF Monaco go through.
