Chances at both ends now. The away side break forward but an inviting cross evades everyone and almost immediately Bristol City's Milan Djuric goes close at the other end with a shot across goal.

The home side are going for it. The game is opening up.

A long punt forward by keeper Fabian Giefer is flicked on but Fulham manage to block the striker's shot.

Bristol City's Jens Hegeler is booked for halting a Fulham attack.

David Cotterill has been at the heart of the few decent attacks Bristol City have managed, but his corner comes to nothing.

They are giving it a go with a some more pressure. At least they have reacted well. At 2-0 it looks like it could well be too late.

Adam Matthews is replaced. It's not been a good few minutes for the Bristol City right-back.

Lee Tomlin comes on. He will play on the right with David Cotterill reverting to right-back.

The natives are restless. They can sense that their side are really struggling to find an answer to Fulham's dominance.

Ryan Sessegnon is still running around like a hyperactive two-year-old. He is only 16 though. Did I mention it? am still struggling to get my head around that.

The Fulham man is posing all sorts of problems for the Bristol City defence.

More pressure on the ball seems to be the way to go for Bristol City. They cannot afford to let Fulham dictate play they way they did for the majority of the first half. 

That way a second goal surely lies.

Can Lee Johnson's men actually see that through or do the Londoners have too much quality?

Bristol City brought on Bobby Reid for Josh Brownhill at the break.

Is that an injury or a tactical change? Well, Reid is a more attacking option. They've switched to 4-3-3.

The first-half stats show Fulham saw a fair bit more of the ball than the hosts.

There wasn't too much between the sides in terms of attempts on goal though, according to the figures.

There have been a couple of decent chances for Bristol City but Fulham are well on top.

They are knocking the ball around nicely and finding it too easy to create opportunities.

Lucas Piazon's goal is the difference but it could easily have been more.

Fulham are the best possession-based team in the division. Bristol City have got to do something about that.

The home fans want them to play on the front foot a lot more than they have done!
