Chances at both ends now. The away side break forward but an inviting cross evades everyone and almost immediately Bristol City's Milan Djuric goes close at the other end with a shot across goal.

The home side are going for it. The game is opening up.

Matt Price: Give Jokanovic another year, he'll get Fulham back up there! Doing brilliant so far with only teams above them doing even better.

Queen Allyse: Bristol City: Top 10 team on paper, bottom half team with that man in charge.

El Diablo: Fulham have got Sheffield Wednesday on the last day of the season. This win is crucial with them dropping points last night

  7. Postpublished at 59 mins

    Bristol City 0-2 Fulham

David Cotterill has been at the heart of the few decent attacks Bristol City have managed, but his corner comes to nothing.

They are giving it a go with a some more pressure. At least they have reacted well. At 2-0 it looks like it could well be too late.

  8. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 56 mins

    Bristol City 0-2 Fulham

Adam Matthews is replaced. It's not been a good few minutes for the Bristol City right-back.

Lee Tomlin comes on. He will play on the right with David Cotterill reverting to right-back.

    Tom Cairney

That's a defensive disaster. City get in a one hell of a mess at the back trying to play the ball out and Adam Matthews gifts the ball to Tom Cairney who finishes coolly.

That was way too easy. it's a long way back now. A long way back. The boos are very loud from the home fans.

The natives are restless. They can sense that their side are really struggling to find an answer to Fulham's dominance.

    Bristol City 0-1 Fulham

Ryan Sessegnon is still running around like a hyperactive two-year-old. He is only 16 though. Did I mention it? am still struggling to get my head around that.

The Fulham man is posing all sorts of problems for the Bristol City defence.

  12. Postpublished at 48 mins

    Bristol City 0-1 Fulham

More pressure on the ball seems to be the way to go for Bristol City. They cannot afford to let Fulham dictate play they way they did for the majority of the first half.

That way a second goal surely lies.

Can Lee Johnson's men actually see that through or do the Londoners have too much quality?

  13. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 46 mins

    Bristol City 0-1 Fulham

Bristol City brought on Bobby Reid for Josh Brownhill at the break.

Is that an injury or a tactical change? Well, Reid is a more attacking option. They've switched to 4-3-3.

The second half is under way. Can Bristol City stem the flow and stage a comeback?

The first-half stats show Fulham saw a fair bit more of the ball than the hosts.

There wasn't too much between the sides in terms of attempts on goal though, according to the figures.

  16. Fulham finding it easypublished at 20:56 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February 2017

    HT: Bristol City 0-1 Fulham

There have been a couple of decent chances for Bristol City but Fulham are well on top.

They are knocking the ball around nicely and finding it too easy to create opportunities.

Lucas Piazon's goal is the difference but it could easily have been more.

    Gary Owers
Former Bristol City midfielder on BBC Radio Bristol

Fulham are the best possession-based team in the division. Bristol City have got to do something about that.

The home fans want them to play on the front foot a lot more than they have done!

It is a really important night and some balls that they should have chased, they've left.

Fulham are picking Bristol City off at will.

  18. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:48 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February 2017

    Bristol City 0-1 Fulham

The interval arrives and there are a fair few boos around Ashton Gate. Bristol City have been second best. By a fair distance.

    Bristol City 0-1 Fulham

Just the one minute of added time to play.

  20. Postpublished at 44 mins

    Bristol City 0-1 Fulham

More Fulham pressure ends with home keeper Fabian Giefer having to steam out of his goal to thwart the away side.

Bristol City could really do with the half-time whistle.

I believe the phrase is under the cosh.
