On Thursday, it was announced that Rochdale midfielder Joe Thompson had been diagnosed with cancer for a second time.

Thompson overcame nodular sclerosing Hodgkin lymphoma in 2014, while at Tranmere, after a six-month course of chemotherapy.

Dale fans will shortly show their support for the 28-year-old, who wears squad number 15, with applause in the 15th minute of today's League One home game against Gillingham.

Keep fighting and get well soon, Joe.

On the field, Nathaniel Mendez-Laing has put Dale 1-0 up.

    QPR 1-0 Rotherham

Saturday's home banker should be QPR, if you take into account Rotherham's wretched away form in the Championship this season. The Millers have only one point on their travels this term.

Matt Smith has added to their misery by putting Rangers in front from Idrissa Sylla's pass.

All over. Wow. Time to catch your breath. A thrilling derby with a 94th-minute equaliser.

Forest well on top in the first half. All Derby after the break. I didn't even say a game of two... oh.

Two 2-2 derby draws and it's as you were at the bottom of the table. Forest are still above the relegation zone by a point, with Blackburn still in the bottom three following their 2-2 draw against Preston.

Aiden McGeady's one-on-one finish has not only kept Preston in the hunt for the play-off places, but done a favour for so many teams scrapping down at the bottom of the Championship.

Blackburn remain in the drop zone after Nottingham Forest, who they were set to go above, also earn a draw at the death.

Things were looking so rosy for Tony Mowbray's side at 92 minutes.

  13. Late drama as Forest levelpublished at 14:54 Greenwich Mean Time 18 March 2017

Real drama. Daniel Pinillos is the hero with a goal that will keep Forest from dropping into the bottom three if it stays at 2-2.

He leaps highest and heads home a brilliant equaliser from Ben Osborn's corner.
