    Everton 4-2 Leicester

Well Leicester just cannot sort themselves out at corners. The ball comes in, Phil Jagielka is close to heading in his second of the day but instead helps it on to Romelu Lukaku , who batters the shot through a clutch of bodies and into the net. He was not going to miss from six yards out.

    Everton 3-2 Leicester

Yep, a real chance drought at the moment. The stage of the game where Everton maybe begin to think about holding on to their lead instead of pressing men forwards at all costs.

Tom Davies and Morgan Schneiderlin are winning all of the second balls. Impressive work.

Jon Hall:  What a dull game! 6 minutes into the second half and no more goals, shocking!

Leicester now having an extended spell of pressure as Jamie Vardy is close to wriggling free of the last defender. Islam Slimani is then penalised for a foul in midfield.

  6. CLOSE!published at 50 mins

    Everton 3-2 Leicester

Everton looking bright but Leicester put together a slick counter and Islam Slimani sees his low cross deflected into the side netting, with Joel Robles struggling to get across. Almost a fluke third for the Foxes.

    Everton 3-2 Leicester

Still being played in top gear as Ross Barkley and Danny Drinkwater don't pull out of a sliding 50/50, Everton work the ball to Kevin Mirallas and he hits an early shot which thuds satisfyingly into the palms of Kasper Schmeichel.

    Everton 3-2 Leicester

Brilliant skill from Romelu Lukaku down in the corner to flick a pass into Mason Holgate, he drags it back to Ross Barkley and he can't get a shot away quickly enough. Promising start to the half though for the hosts.

Islam Slimani, I've just noticed, is wearing gloves. It doesn't get much warmer than this in England I'm afraid. The players are back out.

Hassan_Anfield:  No matter what's the outcome of this game. Craig Shakespeare should be among the list of the managers of the season

    Everton 3-2 Leicester

Leicester won't want to use any players they've saved up for midweek, but with Riyad Mahrez, Leo Ulloa and Ahmed Musa all on the bench they do have plenty of firepower to call upon.

    Everton 3-2 Leicester

Perhaps we shouldn't be surprised. Leicester have conceded the most first half goals in the Premier League this season (28) and have scored two goals in the first half of three of Craig Shakespeare's six games in charge.

Former Everton defender on BBC Radio 5 live

It needs this type of game to be played at 100mph. When games are like this you make more mistakes, and if Everton can move it a bit quicker and not take as many touches then they can open Leicester up.

The result most probably is the right result at the minute, but Leicester have done well after conceding so early on.

Jon Hyde: Do people think Leicester are missing a certain player today? I'd say yes Ndidi........i'll get my coat.....

Robert Burroughs: It's terrifically entertaining when professional footballers wake up on Sunday and choose not to defend.

Deejay Joss : This game is real

Leicester ending the first half on top, leaving just two men back on Romelu Lukaku as Marc Albrighton shoots from 45 yards! Worth a go against Joel Robles? But he puts it wide anyway.

Bob Moss: Can we cancel half time, once the managers get to the players it will become boring.

    Sammiiee: 6-6 is still on..

Sam Pougher: Yes hang your head in shame Barkley that was a shocking miss. Luckily Jagielka saved you from embarrassment
