On David de Gea's reported falling-out with Jose Mourinho

He's probably had words with De Gea and he hasn't reacted like he would want him to. I know he's a big fan of Sergio Romero's personality. It might have been an easier decision than you may think.

Manchester United v Chelsea (16:00 BST)

    Guy Mowbray
    Match of the Day commentator

On paper it's one of the biggest fixtures of the season, but there are factors to suggest that this won't be a United-Chelsea classic.

A close one as with last month's FA Cup tie? Almost certainly. End to end attacking excitement? Probably not.

Chelsea will be fresher than United and quite frankly are much the better team right now, so Jose Mourinho is unlikely to set his side up for an open game.

Moreover, he'll be very keen to avoid any prospect of a third defeat of the season to his old side - and maybe more pertinently to Antonio Conte.

A fourth Old Trafford Premier League draw in a row will be a popular prediction.

"I still think Liverpool can lift their game another 10%. But without creating a lot, West Brom have had the two best chances through Chadli and Robson-Kanu. It's set up for Liverpool now, because West Brom will have to come out more. West Brom haven't really created enough, but they might go for it more in the last 20 minutes."

Firmino's goal is the very last act of the half. Timely indeed.

"We talked about the danger West Brom might pose from set-pieces, but it's Liverpool who score from a set-piece. It was actually a poor one from Milner, but Lucas managed to get a flick to it, and it's a great finish from Firmino. What a time to score."

    West Brom 0-1 Liverpool

What a time to score! A minute into added time, Liverpool striker as James Milner's free-kick to the edge of the box is nodded on by Lucas and then steered home by the head of Roberto Firmino.

45 minutes of largely uneventful football, topped off with one moment of clinical finishing. Two in two games for the Brazilian.

"It's settled down into a pattern. Liverpool have had most of the possession, but neither keeper has been called into a save of note, and that's disappointing. West Brom have shaded the better chances, but you always feel Liverpool can open them up."

Boos from the home fans. Hal Robson-Kanu tumbles to ground in a challenge with Lucas as he looks to latch on to a long ball forward. The Baggies striker was dragging back, but the Liverpool midfielder also ran right in front of him. The safest decision for the ref was a Liverpool free-kick.

I won't lie to you, this isn't a brilliant watch. It's cagey, is what it is. Cagier than a cage match between actor Nicolas and Mortal Kombat character Johnny.

"It wasn't a bad chance for Robson-Kanu. He got in behind Lovren there. The contact wasn't clean, and there were no problems for Mignolet, but it was a decent chance."

Great chance for West Brom! Hal Robson-Kanu beats the offside trap to chest the ball down and past the last man but his shot is tame and straight at Simon Mignolet. A yard or two either side and the Baggies would lead.

Shot on target. Never going to cause any trouble for Ben Foster, though. Divock Origi is miles out and doesn't catch the ball, which trickles to the West Brom keeper to save.
