  1. 'Man City stronger with Kompany in the side'published at 12:05 British Summer Time 16 April 2017

    Southampton 0-3 Man City

    Match of the Day

Former Manchester City midfielder Frank Lampard on Vincent Kompany's return to fitness: "We talk a lot about Manchester City under Pep Guardiola and playing out from the back and how good they want to be from the back, but the first rule of defending is to defend.

"Kompany is the best defender at the club. When you see Kompany in the team you feel a bit stronger about them at the back.

"He [Guardiola] has chopped and change a lot at the back but a fit Vincent Kompany can only be a good thing for the club."

  4. 'Bournemouth expected to be beaten'published at 11:57 British Summer Time 16 April 2017

    Tottenham 4-0 Bournemouth

    Match of the Day

Alan Shearer on Bournemouth's performance in the 4-0 defeat at Tottenham: "They came to Spurs expecting to be beaten.

"They’ve got 35 points, they think they’re safe, they’re not. They didn’t turn up today. They didn’t put the effort in at all, they didn’t close down, it was a very sloppy performance.

"It was too, too easy, there was no protection for the defenders. Spurs got through the backline with ease. They have got to be prepared to put tackles in to crunch someone."

When Frank Lampard talks about Chelsea you would be wise to listen. He has told BBC Sport that Tottenham's impressive form in pursuit of the Blues will make the Premier League leaders nervous.

"Chelsea are very aware that Spurs are there and it'll be a tough game for them tomorrow," the former midfielder told BBC Sport.

"There will be some nervousness but so there should be."

So using Radcliffe's delve into the history of the terrace chant as inspiration, we want to know your favourite football songs.

The Pet Shops Boys has spawned a few fair chants up and down the land - think 'One-nil to the Ars-en-alll' and 'Go Weeeeeest Brom-wich Al-bi-on'.

And Depeche Mode classic 'Just Can't Get Enough' was famously used as a backing track by Celtic fans. Before almost everyone else across the UK copied them to serenade players ranging from Luis Suarez to Ross McCormack to Michael Chopra.

Ever sang about Jay Tabb to a Beyonce tune? Or used The Kinks to salute Richard Naylor?

Tottenham are on the charge. Yesterday's hammering of Bournemouth was their seventh win on the bounce. They have scored the joint-most goals in the division, conceded the least and won more points than any other Premier League side in 2017. No wonder Harry Kane feels like his side are "unbeatable" at the moment.

The gap between themselves and league-leaders Chelsea is down to four points and the message is clear - if you slip up, we are waiting.
