Sahil Oberoi: Bailly has been immense today, as he has been for most of the season. Fantastic signing!

    Burnley 0-2 Manchester United

Just what a defender wants to see at 2-0 down, the youthful dynamism of Marcus Rashford. He's on for Jesse Lingard.

Fellani's not the most skillful player but he knows how to use his strength. He sometimes uses it a bit too much but he's a massively effective player.

Everton played him like a second striker but Jose Mourinho tends to play him deeper and given the way he's played today, you can see why.

    Burnley 0-2 Manchester United

My word, Eric Bailly is having a good game. Heading anything that comes into the box, throwing himself in front of efforts on goal like an extra from Platoon. He and Daley Blind have been well protected by Marouane Fellaini too.

  6. YELLOW CARDpublished at 65 mins

    Burnley 0-2 Manchester United

Now Rooney has had one planted on him by Matt Lowton, a painful blow to the right knee for which the Burnley full-back goes in the book. And again! This time by Joey Barton. Boos from the home fans, but no card for Barton.

Burnley are just so sloppy in the final third. They're not good enough quality-wise.

They're making silly mistakes and making it easy for United.

    Burnley 0-2 Manchester United

Oh, Wayne. A promising United break, Rooney fed through on the left with the potential to shoot, only to lose his footing and faceplant the turf. To make matters worse, he handled the ball as he fell. It's comforting to know that the all-time leading goalscorer for Manchester United and England can look as village as the rest of us.

Sean Dyche shakes it up. George Boyd off, Johann Berg Gudmundsson on. The Icelander has missed eight games because of a knee injury.

    Burnley 0-2 Manchester United

This one is starting to feel a little flat. United are in control, definitely what they want after being taken two hours by Anderlecht in the week. Burnley haven't threatened since the break.

    Breaking

    Liverpool v Crystal Palace (16:30)

Predictable stuff from Anfield. Liverpool are unchanged. Mamadou Sakho can't play for Palace against his parent club, so James Tomkins comes in.

This United team are very hard to beat...all that's missing is a consistent killer instinct, with 3 or 4 players this summer we could well be the team to beat next season.

  14. GREAT SAVE!published at 53 mins

    Burnley 0-2 Manchester United

Save! Paul Pogba tries his luck from distance, a skimming shot heading for Tom Heaton's left-hand post, only for the keeper to fist it away. United the more likely at the start of the second half.

I don't want to sound like a broken record but Burnley end up on the edge of the Man United penalty area, and a sloppy pass happens and it's a goal kick. It keeps happening.

    Burnley 0-2 Manchester United

That story about Anthony Martial's goal costing Manchester United £8.5m? It's true. A day out in Burnley can be expensive. Slightly subdued start to the second period, noise levels comparable to a party after neighbours have complained.

That's a shank from George Boyd, an attempt at a cross from the left that goes out of play before it reaches the near post. Sean Dyche, a suit sharper than a razor, waves his arms like a man conducting an orchestra.

    Burnley 0-2 Manchester United

There's some suggestion that Anthony Martial's goal, his 25th for Manchester United, has just cost the club £8.5m as part of the deal that brought him from Monaco. We'll try to get that one firmed up.
