  1. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 79 mins

    Crystal Palace 0-1 Burnley

That looked a pretty strong shout for Palace.

Jon Flanagan - who has been all enthusiasm and not much precision since he came on - clouts the back of Wilfried Zaha's leg as the Palace winger turns in on goal.

Nothing doing from Robert Madley who is not making himself very popular in these parts...

Crystal Palace are committing more and more men forward.

They are dominating possession but look a little understaffed at the back. There might be more goals in this yet...

Sam Vokes rolls Martin Kelly and scampers in towards goal as the Palace defence opens up like the Red Sea.

Vokes touch as he approaches the edge of the box is heavy however, narrowing his angle and allowing Kelly to get back at him and block with a sliding challenge.

That was a chance to win it.

Palace have been turning the screw, they have been on top but they haven't been able to create any strong chances so maybe a change of strikers will give them that extra push.

  6. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 71 mins

    Crystal Palace 0-1 Burnley

Two of Palace's lesser-spotted strikers are on.

Loic Remy replaces Christian Benteke to make his first appearance since mid-February.

Meanwhile Fraizer Campbell has come on in place of James McArthur.

Brilliant save from Heaton. So difficult from Delaney to keep that shot down and even though it wasn't hit with great power, it was an outstanding tip over with a strong hand.

  9. GREAT SAVE!published at 65 mins

    Crystal Palace 0-1 Burnley

How many times have we typed that about Tom Heaton this season?

The Burnley goalkeeper, with the sun in his eyes for added difficulty, goes full length to tip Damien Delaney's sweetly-hit half-volley over the top from 15 yards.

A shot of Mamadou Sakho in the Selhurst Park stands. The defender - injured and on loan from Liverpool - is sporting some Walter White-style specs along with a bleached mohawk.

    It's a strong look...

    Crystal Palace 0-1 Burnley

Burnley pop the ball around the fringes of the Palace box neatly enough with Scott Arfield and George Boyd heavily involved.

But it doesn't get them anywhere, the ball bouncing behind for a goal-kick off Boyd.

    Back to basics perhaps?

The referee has got a huge problem now because he has the whole crowd against him - he has Sam Allardyce and Sammy Lee on him and the Burnley bench are now on him because they think he is being influenced by the crowd.

He's not had an easy game so far.

Wilfred Zaha's battle with Jon Flanagan - which is taking place on the wing in front of the dug-outs - is a right old tussle.

Sam Allardyce is bawling support at his man.

It is all getting rather tetchy.

  14. YELLOW CARDpublished at 51 mins

    Crystal Palace 0-1 Burnley

Wilfried Zaha's shins get another chopping, with Jon Flanagan in close attendance for Burnley.

No free-kick and the Palace winger loses his temper, and berates the linesman with his eyeballs out on stalks.

Zaha is shown yellow and the crowd tell Bobby Madley that he doesn't know what he is doing.

Scott Arfield aims his delivery towards the twin towers of Michael Keane and James Tarkowski, but can't pick out either.

Patrick van Aanholt hoofs the over-cooked set-piece clear.

The mood of the Palace camp is not improved any as George Boyd flops over the leg of Jason Puncheon and wins a free-kick.

Decent spot for Scott Arfield to feed in from the right...

Jon Flanagan, on late in the first half for the injured Stephen Ward, makes his entrance into the fray with a clattering challenge on Wilfried Zaha.

Zaha looks pained, Sam Allardyce looks like he is about to pop a hernia, no free-kick given.

That red spot on the left of Crystal Palace's heatmap? That is mostly the work of Patrick van Aanholt.

The Palace left-back has been hammering up and down the flank, having 10 more touches than any of his team-mates (50) and making the most 'key passes' (two).

    A decent shift so far.
