    Borussia Monchengladbach 0-0 Bayern Munich

    German Bundesliga

So much going on in Madrid, there's barely time to tell you that Bundesliga leaders Bayern Munich have just kicked off. Carlo Ancelotti's side will go 13 points clear with a win. Both sides have had chances in the first five minutes; Bayern's Thomas Muller denied by Yann Sommer at one end, Tony Jantsche kept out by Manuel Neuer at the other.

  2. SUBSTITUTIONSpublished at 64 mins

    Atletico Madrid 2-0 Sevilla

Jorge Sampaoli responds with two changes of his own; Joaquin Correa and Vicente Iborra are on for Wissam Ben Yedder and Pablo Sarabia.

Correa's first contribution is to be bodychecked by Atletico captain Diego Godin, who is booked.

  3. SUBSTITUTION - Torres is backpublished at 63 mins

    Atletico Madrid 2-0 Sevilla

It's the perfect time for Fernando Torres to return to action. The striker, knocked out in a sickening collision with Deportivo midfielder Alex Bergantinos on 2 March, makes his comeback as a replacement for Kevin Gameiro, to loud cheers.

    Atletico Madrid 2-0 Sevilla

...and what a free-kick. Antoine Griezmann steps up and hammers the shot over the wall and in off the underside of the bar. No chance for Sergio Rico. It's five goals in five games for Griezmann, and Atletico are in control.

    Atletico Madrid 1-0 Sevilla

Kevin Gameiro suddenly finds a burst of speed to leave the Sevilla defence in a flap. As the striker approaches the edge of the penalty area, Gabriel Mercado takes him out, and takes the booking. But it's a free-kick...

  7. Postpublished at 58 mins

    Atletico Madrid 1-0 Sevilla

Atletico sitting back in this second half, trying to draw Sevilla out and then catch them on the counter. It's a risky strategy by Diego Simeone, but they do break out to have a couple of half-chances. Kevin Gameiro cannot quite latch on to a through ball, and is denied as Sergio Rico races off his line to gather, and then Yannick Carrasco hits a 25-yarder straight at the keeper a moment later.

    Atletico Madrid 1-0 Sevilla

Sevilla, as it is, are still very much in the game - a tidy move, full of quick passing, gives Wissam Ben Yedder a chance to cross, but it is charged down for a corner. Yannick Carrasco is too slow to retreat the full 10 yards, and is booked. Diego Godin heads the set-piece away.

  9. Postpublished at 52 mins

    Atletico Madrid 1-0 Sevilla

Oh, what a chance for Atletico's Antoine Griezmann - one which, for once, the in-form France forward cannot take. He is played clear by Kevin Gameiro, has only the goalkeeper to beat, but slots wide of the post. A second goal there might have finished Sevilla.

  10. Postpublished at 50 mins

    Atletico Madrid 1-0 Sevilla

A moment of genius from Sevilla's Pablo Sarabia, who reaches Sergio Escudero's left-wing cross with a backheeled volley - straight at the keeper, though,

    Atletico Madrid 1-0 Sevilla

Atletico winger Yannick Carrasco, full of energy, is played in down the right for a first-time shot. He strikes it well enough, but keeper Sergio Rico is behind it.

    Atletico Madrid 1-0 Sevilla

Vitolo with a run down the right for Sevilla, nips infield past Juanfran and looks dangerous as he surges into the penalty area - but it's good tracking back from midfield by Saul Niguez to whip the ball off his toe.

  13. Postpublished at 47 mins

    Atletico Madrid 1-0 Sevilla

Centre-back Clement Lenglet is the player who has gone off, and that would suggest Sevilla are going to a 4-4-2. He does love his tactical switches, does Jorge Sampaoli. A necessary one here, I would suggest.

  14. KICK-OFFpublished at 16:17 Greenwich Mean Time 19 March 2017

    Atletico Madrid 1-0 Sevilla

A change for Sevilla at the break; former Manchester City striker Stevan Jovetic is on.

    FT: Sampdoria 0-1 Juventus

    Italian Serie A

Anyway, amid all that technical chaos, let me see if I can tell you about Juventus. They have seen out their 1-0 win at Sampdoria, secured by Juan Cuadrado's early header, and now have a 10-point lead at the top of Serie A. Roma, in third at present, can climb to second and reduce that lead to eight points by beating Sassuolo at 19:45 GMT.

One or two technical gremlins affecting us there. Apologies for that. Now I know how they felt at ITV when that Tic Tacs advert blotted out Dan Gosling's winner for Everton against Liverpool all those years ago.

    Atletico Madrid 1-0 Sevilla

Here's what I typed when Atletico took the lead a few minutes ago:

Atletico Madrid captain Diego Godin is a handy attacking threat at set-pieces. Sadly for Sevilla, they seem to have forgotten. The centre-back is left unmarked to plant in a header from Antoine Griezmann's free-kick, and Atletico have the lead their pressure has deserved.

    Atletico Madrid 1-0 Sevilla

Atletico full-back Filipe Luis is booked for chopping down Samir Nasri right on the edge of the penalty area - it's a free-kick in a promising position for Sevilla, but the home wall stands firm.

All over in Ligue 1 - Kylian Mbappe has ended up with two goals in a comfortable Monaco win, which extends their lead, for now, to six points. Paris St-Germain, in second, host Lyon at 20:00 GMT.
