City do have real quality on the bench tonight, should they need to try and change this game at any stage.

Nick Cushing has three senior England regulars on the bench in Nikita Parris, Isobel Christiansen and Toni Duggan.

But they could also opt to call upon teenage striker Georgia Stanway.

Mel Lawley and Kosovare Asllani have been switching flanks quite effectively so far for the hosts.

City seem keen to get the ball out wide and cross it into the middle as much as possible.

That route to goal did prove successful for them in the first leg, as Carli Lloyd headed in this tie's only goal so far.

Lucy Bronze's head took a right old whack there, as she challenged for a header, but she is made of stern stuff and will continue.

It was a real 'ouch' moment, but City were just relieved to have avoided conceding.

Fortuna Hjorring go very close again. This time a high cross falls to Caroline Rask at the far post and she has acres of space to control the ball and shoot.

Her shot is blocked by Steph Houghton's armpit. The visitors appeal for handball but it the officials get it right. No penalty.

But on the rebound, Rask should surely score... But drags her low effort wide, somehow, and City escape.

Amongst all that, City's Lucy Bronze and Fortuna's Camilla Larsen clashed heads, but both players are OK to continue.

Big chance for Fortuna Hjorring - and they should be level in the tie!

The ball is squared from the left-hand byline to the on-rushing Camilla Larsen, 10 yards out, but she hits it straight at England keeper Karen Bardsley.

City breathe a sigh of relief.

With a brilliant run, Carli Lloyd almost opens the scoring!

She beats two players and races into the area but just steers her low, left-footed shot wide.

You might say, with her ability, she should have scored from there.

But she showed great balance to tee up the chance in the first place.

Fortuna captain Florentina Olar does well and feeds Camilla Larsen on the edge of the Man City area but her shot is blocked by Abbie McManus.

Man City look pretty composed so far. As Nick Cushing's pre-match quotes suggested, they are a side who know that, if they play to their potential, should go through tonight. Nobody on the home side looks nervous at all.
