Celtic's top scorer Moussa Dembele has scored 32 times this season in all competitions - double the haul of Rangers' leading marksman, Martyn Waghorn - with five of those strikes coming against Celtic's Glasgow rivals.

The young Frenchman will be coming up against a Rangers defence markedly more parsimonious under Caixinha than his predecessor Mark Warburton. Indeed, since the change of manager, Rangers have conceded only once in five matches.

Who will present the best team talk at Hampden today? Will it be the Portuguese Pedro Caixinha addressing his Rangers troops? Or Brendan Rodgers attempting to stir the Celtic players? Or how about this officer imparting his tactical wisdom to his charges?

  4. Gers 'not consistent enough'published at 10:49 British Summer Time 23 April 2017

    Celtic v Rangers (12:00)

Rangers defender Danny Wilson admits that beating Celtic on Sunday will not make up for his side's disappointing showing in the league this season.

Perdo Caixinha's team go into the tie in third place in the Premiership, 33 points behind champions Celtic.

"We've not been consistent enough so you can't say it would be a success by getting to one cup final," Wilson said.

"Over the course of the season we've been poor. We would have preferred to do a lot better in the league.

"But as it it is, a win on Sunday would give us something to look forward to."

If you're in the mood to annoy your pals, why not send them your combined Old Firm XI? Imagine you are Brendan Rodgers or Pedro Caixinha - or Brendan Caixinha, if you will - and select your formation and favoured 11 from the Celtic and Rangers squads.

Here's my attempt, with a formation inspired by the World Snooker Championship at the Crucible...
