Fulham want a penalty as Lucas Piazon goes down in the box, but the referee is having none of it.

    It's a fantastic second half.

Reading need to get the ball. I know it is blatantly obvious, but they need a spell in possession.

    They need an outlet.

As it stands, Reading - a team that have built their success this season on possession - have actually seen less of the ball than Fulham, 51% to 49%.

Very few teams can say they have done that at the Madejski Stadium against Jaap Stam's side this term. Huge pressure on them to protect this lead.

  11. CLOSE!published at 61 mins

Fulham could be level! Ryan Fredericks does so well down their right, he cuts it back and substitute Lucas Piazon is there... But his shot from eight yards is blocked. That was close.

How has he not scored?! Reading's John Swift has a simple, three-yard tap-in! But he diverts it back across goal straight into the keeper's arms.

It should be 2-0! It's all Reading.

  16. 'It's like Joshua v Klitschko'published at 55 mins

    Reading 1-0 Fulham

    Steve Brown
Former Charlton Athletic defender on BBC Radio London

This is like Anthony Joshua the other night on the ropes when he took the big hit, they're just rocking are Fulham.

They're trying to find a way to stay in the game at the moment, mistakes throughout the side.

They've just just got to gather their thoughts, settle down, keep possession and it'll turn again.

  17. 'Replays do Kalas no favours'published at 54 mins

    Reading 1-0 Fulham

    Adam Williams
    BBC Sport at Madejski Stadium

I think you definitely file that penalty decision against Fulham and Tomas Kalas in the "seen them given" section.

It looked harsh in real time, but replays do the Fulham centre-back absolutely no favours and you question why he needed to move his left arm up, under relatively little pressure.

    Game most definitely on now.

  18. YELLOW CARD (Reading)published at 53 mins

    Reading 1-0 Fulham

Centre-back Liam Moore goes into the book for the hosts, for a poor challenge on Fulham's Sone Aluko.

    Reading rampant. Fulham floundering.

    The Madejski Stadium is estatic.

Now Reading, a clean sheet and you are at Wembley.
