Collin Quaner came on the right-hand side and provided something Elias Kachunga wasn't doing.

He got down the right-hand side, crosses it and from nothing - with a great substitution - Huddersfield are back in the game.

    Huddersfield Town are level!

Collin Quaner, with probably his first touch, puts a cross in from the right and Nahki Wells turns in from close range - possibly with a deflection off Wednesday defender Tom Lees.

It's scruffy, but who cares if you're a Terriers fan?

    Extra time, anyone?

  3. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 72 mins

    Sheff Wed 1-0 Huddersfield

Huddersfield have brought on Collin Quaner for Elias Kachunga, who went down heavily after a challenge a couple of minutes ago.

The pressure they created immediately after Steven Fletcher's goal for Sheffield Wednesday has subsided for now, and they need to crank it up again soon.

When Sheffield Wednesday beat Brighton 2-0 in the home leg of their play-off semi-final last season, it was Kieran Lee who scored a decisive second goal which swung the tie firmly in the Owls' favour.

A second goal here would surely secure Wednesday's place at Wembley on 29 May. Reading await the winners.

    Sheff Wed 1-0 Huddersfield

Huddersfield have now gone nearly 400 minutes without scoring a goal.

They last netted when Izzy Brown scored at Wolves on 25 April, on the night they secured a play-off spot.

The Terriers then lost their final two league games of the season without scoring, before Sunday's goalless play-off semi-final first leg.

Jordan Rhodes is into the action immediately, being brought down by Michael Hefele on halfway. The Huddersfield defender gets a booking.

  7. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 61 mins

Sheffield Wednesday have plenty of attacking power to call upon.

Exhibit A: Goalscorer Steven Fletcher is replaced by Jordan Rhodes, who made his name as a prolific EFL goal-getter at... Huddersfield.

By the way, here's a picture of Fletcher celebrating his goal, rather than him reacting to coming off...

Barry Bannan had looked the man most likely to unlock the Huddersfield defence and so it has proved.

In more than 135 minutes, that cross was the first genuine moment of top-level class in this tie.

Huddersfield have 35 minutes to do what they have failed to do in their last nine halves of football against the Owls - find a goal.

Andy Alderman: Just love it when the first leg is a draw, makes it virtually a one-game play-off and much more exciting.

Michael Armitage: Play-offs awesome to watch from a distance - hell when your team is involved.

    Sheff Wed 1-0 Huddersfield

I've just seen a replay of Sheffield Wednesday's goal, and it was vintage Steven Fletcher, arriving late and leaping highest at the far post to head past Danny Ward.

Reading scored their winner against Fulham last night at about the same stage of the match, and it was enough for them.

Can Huddersfield do what Fulham couldn't and find an equaliser? They've responded very well and had lots of play in the Wednesday half, but they haven't tested Keiren Westwood yet.

Huddersfield search for a quick equaliser but Nahki Wells, who pounces on an Izzy Brown pass forward, shanks his shot well wide.

That's exactly what Sheffield Wednesday do to you.

Barry Bannan is the player that can unlock defences with diagonal balls like that. When he does, Steven Fletcher will put the ball into the net like that.

It's not been a classic. But that can sometimes add to the drama, and play-off semi-finals don't come much closer than this.

Who will get the long-awaited breakthrough?

There are very, very good players out there who are not producing.

I'm sure, in those dressing rooms, the managers have been demanding more.

At the present moment, it deserves to be 0-0.

Zach Kingsbury: I predicted 1-0 Huddersfield and so far they're the better team. Love to see them win and go all the way but need to take chances.

Tad K: Here in Australia we already know the score. Nuhiu [off the bench] scored a winning header in the dying minutes of the game.

If you've already seen this weekend's lottery numbers as well, Tad, let us know, won't you?

We're reaching the point of the tie where you have to think any goal is likely to be the winner.

These two teams are so evenly matched across the pitch but there are signs that a breakthrough could be in the offing.

Owls midfielder Barry Bannan is getting on the ball far more than on Sunday and their best work is all coming through the Scot.

Town, as on Sunday, may be left to regret a missed chance from Izzy Brown.

It has been a bit too passive. The game just needs spicing up a little.

Huddersfield will be the more pleased about this performance. They've controlled possesion. They've not really been in too much trouble. They're making Sheffield Wednesday fall back.

Barry Bannan and Fernando Forestieri need to get involved more to win this game for Wednesday.

I think 0-0 is a fair reflection on the first half.
