  1. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:32 British Summer Time 17 May 2017

    Sheff Wed 0-0 Huddersfield

A third goalless half in this Championship play-off semi-final, although there have been glimpses of what both sides can produce in attacking areas.

Izzy Brown had the best chance, hitting the post for Huddersfield from close range, while the Terriers had what seemed to be a legitimate shout for a penalty turned down.

We go again in 15 minutes in search of a first goal in this tie.

  2. Hogg bookedpublished at 44 mins

    Sheff Wed 0-0 Huddersfield

Jonathan Hogg was perhaps a bit unfortunate to escape a yellow card for a foul earlier in the first half, so when the Huddersfield midfielder clatters into Fernando Forestieri, the referee has little option but to caution the former Aston Villa man.

The game has certainly livened up. Once Huddersfield put the ball into the box, they cause problems.

It very nearly bounced down for them there. The shout for a penalty was a good shout, but not given.

  4. Huddersfield penalty appeal turned downpublished at 38 mins

    Sheff Wed 0-0 Huddersfield

Claims for a Huddersfield penalty fall on deaf ears.

Was Nahki Wells brought down by Keiren Westwood? It probably should have been given having seen a replay, but Andre Marriner thought otherwise.

It was certainly a clumsy one, and could be a big talking point.

  5. Terriers enjoying possessionpublished at 37 mins

The visitors enjoyed more than 60% of the possession in the first 30 minutes, but are yet to have a shot on target.

The Terriers had 69% of the ball in the first leg too - and managed only two shots on target.

  6. 'It could be starting to open up'published at 35 mins

    Ian Woodcock
    BBC Sport at Hillsborough

He had the game's best chance on Sunday and Huddersfield's Izzy Brown might just have had tonight's clearest opening too.

That will certainly have let Wednesday know just how much of a threat the Terriers can carry on the break.

It's taken a while, but this tie could just be starting to open up as both teams look to break the deadlock.

A Sheffield Wednesday free-kick from deep is headed on to Sam Hutchinson, who brings the ball down and then balloons his shot well over.

More than half an hour into the second leg, and we're still no closer to finding out who will be facing Reading in the Championship play-off final at Wembley on 29 May.

  9. 'Fletcher wasted the chance'published at 31 mins

    Sheff Wed 0-0 Huddersfield

    Steve McClaren
Ex-England manager on BBC Radio 5 live

It's unbelievable how a player of Steven Fletcher's experience can make a decision like that.

That was an exquisite, 40-yard pass, perfect for him to run onto and to either dink it over the keeper or volley it at pace. He did neither, and wasted the chance.

  10. Postpublished at 29 mins

    Sheff Wed 0-0 Huddersfield

This game's livened up now. Now Sheffield Wednesday waste a good opening.

Barry Bannan picks out Steven Fletcher with a long ball and the Scot cuts back in on his favoured left foot before trying to find Fernando Forestieri.

However, his pass is behind the onrushing Italian and the chance goes begging.

  11. 'Brown should have scored'published at 27 mins

Izzy Brown's late run into the box - that was more like Huddersfield. That was quicker. From that cross, he should have scored.

  12. Huddersfield hit the postpublished at 26 mins

A massive, massive chance for Huddersfield - and it's missed.

Nahki Wells gets free down the left and picks out Izzy Brown who, six yards out, hits the outside of the post.

How big a moment could that be?

  13. Hutchinson bookedpublished at 24 mins

    Sheff Wed 0-0 Huddersfield

Sheffield Wednesday midfielder Sam Hutchinson is the first man into Andre Marriner's book. He slid in on Huddersfield's Izzy Brown and got nowhere near the ball.

Huddersfield are not hurrying. They're very composed.

It's a bit of a stalemate at the present moment. We're just waiting for somebody to make a mistake and get an opportunity.

Huddersfield goalkeeper Danny Ward makes his first saves of the evening, keeping out Adam Reach's close-range shot and then the follow-up from Steven Fletcher, who was offside.

That's the best moment of the match so far for the hosts.

I just hope our social media team aren't providing us fish facts for the halibut.

Sorry. No more of those, I promise.

Steve McClaren mentioned on Radio 5 live earlier about the threat that Barry Bannan could cause, now that he's switched to the Sheffield Wednesday right after the early withdrawal of Ross Wallace.

He's just gone on a decent run down the touchline, and then whipped in a teasing inswinging cross which just evaded the two men in blue in the penalty area.

The home fans are liking what they are seeing so far, with their team showing far more attacking threat than on Sunday.

How much of a blow having to make such an early substitution was may not become apparent until we reach the later stages of the game or even, whisper it, extra time.

Mark Colin Early: As a lifelong Wednesday fan that left the country just as we got relegated in 2000, come on Wednesday!

Mark Wilkins: This is a difficult one to predict but as a neutral, I'd like to see Huddersfield make it all the way to the Premier League!

Ross Farrows: Do the away goals count?

Away goals don't count in the EFL play-offs, Ross. With this tie level so far, the winner tonight will simply go through. If they're still level after 90 minutes, we'll have extra-time, and maybe penalties.

It's Huddersfield's turn to force a corner - two of them, in fact. But the second is punched well clear by Wednesday goalkeeper Keiren Westwood.
