Sheffield Wednesday force the first corner, which comes to very little, and Huddersfield win a free-kick on the edge of their own box to ease any early pressure.

That's enough for many of the home fans to find their voices, and for a few moments it drowns out the person incessantly banging a drum in the crowd at Hillsborough.

That's a big blow in terms of having to reshuffle.

But that might help Sheffield Wednesday, in that Barry Bannan has now gone onto the right-hand side.

He'll have more freedom over there. Adam Reach - who is better at defending - goes to the left.

And the night is over for Ross Wallace. What a blow for Sheffield Wednesday and for Wallace, who scored in both legs of last season's semi-final win over Brighton.

The Scot looks distraught as he trudges off. The consolatory pats from team-mates will mean little right now.

Adam Reach, who started on Sunday, is on to replace him.

There is a sense that the pressure is on the hosts tonight.

Town boss David Wagner has admitted he never even dreamt his side would reach the play-offs this season, while this is a second successive top-six finish for Wednesday.

It's 17 years since the Owls were relegated from the Premier League and owner Dejphon Chansiri said he wanted promotion in two years when he took over in 2015... He's potentially 180 minutes from seeing his team do just that.

Whatever happens, one of the these two teams will have set up a Wembley date by the end of the day.

Sheffield Wednesday in blue, Huddersfield in black and that luminous yellow that seems to be all the rage with away kits these days.

We're level at the start. We must have a winner, with a place at Wembley at stake.

It's the visitors who get us under way.

A white hot atmosphere has built up over the past 10 minutes or so. There's nervous energy.

The prize is for the dream to continue. For the losers, there's nothing.

The home advantage should be an advantage with this crowd. Wednesday have to be the favourites, with this following behind them.

Sheffield Wednesday must counter attack better than they did on Sunday.

Kyle Utterson: Tough one to call. I fancy Huddersfield to edge it. That said they may regret the missed chances in the 1st leg.

Patrick Hallam: Come on Wednesday! This year surely has to be our year! Two games away from our rightful place. Proper club, proper fans!

Graeme Stevenson: Have a feeling we'll be going to extra time tonight, 2-2 final score at 90 mins, Huddersfield to win on pens.

Sheff Wed v Huddersfield (0-0 agg, 19:45 BST)

There's no denying how big this game is for Huddersfield Town, who are only two wins away from ending a 45-year absence from England's top flight.

"I think it's the biggest game in my career," said Town forward Elias Kachunga, who won promotion to Germany's Bundesliga with Paderborn earlier in his career.

"For me it was always a dream to one time play in the Premier League. When you have the chance to go up with Huddersfield, then it makes it bigger."

Sheffield Wednesday beat Brighton 2-0 in the home leg of their Championship play-off semi-final last season. Can they repeat that tonight?

Owls head coach Carlos Carvalhal said: "Our fans are amazing, they will play a very important role, but we must do our job of course.

"If you saw what we have achieved at Hillsborough and the results we have got, we win a lot more games at home than away. We are massively better at home."

The Owls were at this stage 12 months ago, knocking out Brighton over two legs before a 1-0 loss to Hull at Wembley.

But prior to that, their play-off history was relatively sparse - this is only their third involvement, and they've never gone out in the semi-finals before.

By contrast, this is Huddersfield's ninth play-off campaign, but their first in the second tier.

In their previous eight efforts, they've gone out in the semi-finals four times and been promoted three times.

Their most dramatic play-off moment came when beating Sheffield United 8-7 on penalties in the 2012 League One final, when all 22 players took a spot kick.

There's only one change to the Huddersfield line-up from Sunday's first leg and it's an expected one, as goalkeeper Danny Ward is available again following suspension and he replaces Joel Coleman.

Huddersfield: Ward, Smith, Hefele, Schindler, Lowe, Hogg, Mooy, Kachunga, Brown, Van La Parra, Wells.

Subs: Coleman, Whitehead, Hudson, Holmes-Dennis, Cranie, Payne, Quaner.

Sam Hutchinson comes into the centre of midfield, with Adam Reach dropping to the bench.

It's fair to say that Sunday's first leg was a cagey affair. Wednesday came to contain their hosts and that is exactly what they did, while not managing a single shot on target themselves.

I don't want to put anyone off but I don't think today will be too different. These two teams have spent all season in close games. 22 of Huddersfield's 25 league wins were by a one-goal margin.

Terriers boss David Wagner has said he doesn't think the Owls will set up as defensively tonight as on Sunday and they certainly have the attacking talent to open the game up.

For those interested, the last time a play-off tie finished 0-0 on aggregate was 1999...
