Ah, yes. The EFL play-offs - making grown adults scream since 1987.

This must be rare - there have been three changes so far, with all the players coming on having scored in the first leg.

Carlisle substitute Shaun Miller scored off the bench in the first leg while Jamaica international Joel Grant, on for Exeter, must've felt unlucky not to start after his goal and two assists at Brunton Park.

John O'Sullivan, meanwhile, netted with that freak overhit cross on Sunday night.

Can any of them be heroes again?

  5. goal

GOAL: Luton 3-1 Blackpool (agg: 5-4)published at 56 mins

    Danny Hylton

Danny Hylton steps up to take the penalty.

He elects for a panenka, which clips the bar on its way into the goal, with Sam Slocombe nearly getting his hand to it.

That's Hylton's 27th goal of the season, but he should never have had the chance to score it. Not what you want to see.

  6. PENALTY (Luton)published at 55 mins

    Luton 2-1 Blackpool

Well today we had the news that simulation will lead to a retrospective ban next season and if it was next term, Danny Hylton would be getting one.

He threw himself to the ground under a challenge by Ian Black in the area, but there was no contact. The referee still gives it.

  7. SUBSTITUTION (Carlisle)published at 63 mins

    Exeter 1-0 Carlisle

Carlisle make another change, as John O'Sullivan gets the nod to replace Reggie Lambe.

So Shaun Miller and O'Sullivan - who both scored in the final 20 minutes of the first leg - are now both on the field, off the bench.

  8. Postpublished at 54 mins

    Luton 2-1 Blackpool

Blackpool have been passengers in this game so far but finally get into the game as Andy Taylor breaks down the left but can't find a man in the middle.

Then Neil Danns has a rush of blood to the head and fires over from 30 yards out. He shouldn't have shot from there. But what do I know? I wouldn't have even got enough power on the shot to make it reach the goal.

  9. GREAT SAVE!published at 62 mins

    Exeter 1-0 Carlisle

A really, really smart stop from Mark Gillespie keeps Carlisle in this tie!

He reacts brilliantly to get down low and get a touch on Ollie Watkins' fierce strike from close range.

  10. Postpublished at 51 mins

    Luton 2-1 Blackpool

    Luton should be ahead.

Danny Hylton breaks forward with pace, lays off Lawson D'Ath on the edge of the area who elects to pass to the under pressure Pelly-Ruddock Mpanzu, who fires wide of the mark.

D'Ath was totally free and probably should have shot himself.

  11. SUBSTITUTION (Exeter)published at 59 mins

    Exeter 1-0 Carlisle

Now it's Exeter's turn for a sub, as Joel Grant comes on for Lee Holmes, who had made his first start since Boxing Day.

Both players get a loud roar of approval from the home fans, who know they are just over 30 minutes away from a trip to Wembley.

Danny Hylton is so close to putting Luton in the lead.

Pelly-Ruddock Mpanzu takes advantage of slack Kelvin Mellor defending to get free on the left and he plays in a low cross to Hylton, but the striker can't turn it towards goal and fires wide.

The second half starts as the first ended.

  13. SUBSTITUTION (Carlisle)published at 57 mins

    Exeter 1-0 Carlisle

Keith Curle makes his first change, as Shaun Miller replaces Jamie Devitt.

Devitt had looked a handful, to be honest.

  14. Postpublished at 55 mins

    Exeter 1-0 Carlisle

Luke Joyce shoots from range for Carlise but his effort is blocked and cleared.

Then Exeter break down the other end quickly, but David Wheeler's left-footed shot goes straight at the keeper.

  15. SECOND HALFpublished at 45 mins

    Luton 2-1 Blackpool

Blackpool need to get a foothold in this match as they haven't really had one at any point, even when they were in the lead.

Gary Bowyer's side went 2-1 behind in the first leg, only to turn it around in the second half and win 3-2. Can they do it again tonight?

The Tangerines get the second half under way having made a change - bringing on Ian Black for Jack Payne.

  16. Postpublished at 52 mins

    Exeter 1-0 Carlisle

It would take a brave person to bet which of the following will arrive first: The next goal in this tie at St James Park... Or the start of the second half at Kenilworth Road...

  17. Postpublished at 51 mins

    Exeter 1-0 Carlisle

The game is getting quite stretched now, with both sides committing plenty of men forward at either end.

  18. Postpublished at 49 mins

    Exeter 1-0 Carlisle

Plenty of endeavour about both sides so far in the second half but no clear openings.

  19. First-half statspublished at 20:47 British Summer Time 18 May 2017

    HT: Luton 2-1 Blackpool

    StatsImage source, BBC Sport

On the balance of play, you'd say that the scoreline is justified.

Blackpool have really struggled to get into their stride - apart from the moment they took the lead thanks to Nathan Delfouneso - while Luton have been on top either side of that.

The Tangerines' discipline has let them down, with both goals coming from free-kicks either side of the pitch.

  20. SECOND HALFpublished at 46 mins

    Exeter 1-0 Carlisle

Carlisle - trailing by one goal on aggregate - get the second half started at St James Park.

    They need a goal.
