Port Vale were relegated to League Two after failing to beat promotion-chasing Fleetwood at Highbury Stadium.

Port Vale captain Ben Purkiss told BBC Radio Stoke:

"I don't think words can really sum up how we feel. That's the quietest I've ever known the dressing room after the game.

"It wasn't today that cost us, it's been throughout the whole season.

You reflect on the day, we had opportunities. The game was so open in that second half, we were pushing forward, we had chances, they had chances.

"I actually thought our chances were probably the better of the chances in the game and we just couldn't get the goal."

    Bristol Rovers 3-4 Millwall

Millwall manager Neil Harris was delighted with his side's dramatic win over Rovers.

"We don’t do things easy," he told BBC Radio London. "But the character, spirit and determination, the drive and the moments of quality got us through.

"Rovers scored two great goals, with wonderful strikes and you’re thinking ‘is this going to be our day?’ But then [Shane] Ferguson’s delivery from the corner and the hunger for [Shaun] Hutchinson to get on the end of it and send a great header was excellent.

"I’m delighted for the players, but that was just one of four cup finals, with Scunthorpe to come next."

It looks like Peterborough chairman Darragh MacAnthony wasn't too impressed by his side's showing at Bolton today.

That said, with Fleetwood failing to score against Port Vale, Bolton would have been promoted regardless.
